nope, accepted that two or three on here enjoy slagging the club off either for attention or perhaps not fans at all.

(1) No. But the squad he assembled was assembled, partly with a rushed transfer window. He attracted players when we were at best about 13 points of play offs. I see no reason why players who joined on that basis would suddenly change their mind about being here, and if they do go that they would not be replaced by similar standard. (2) I am not aware of any supporter who would choose league 1 over CCC and doesn't want promotion. (3) There is a lot wrong with it. Having said that fans are enjoying the season in their thousands.

only a fool would think we would be back to square one if we don't get promoted. just driven through Southampton to see all the Wembley posters across the city. Even if we lose a few top players will still be much better off than we were close of season last year.

Think Pardew has the job for next season unless we lose every game now.

how many times have people on here heard him interviewed? I listen to solent a lot and can only remember his pre-season interviews. There are loads on here saying they know how he thinks, what he expects, what sort of man he is etc. We don't know.

I don't believe he will have any knee jerk reaction and will be ok with the development of the team - disappointed that we are not in play offs (as we all would have liked it and it was possible) but not at all surprised.

can't complain too much after enjoying seeing 10 goals in 4 days last week. disappointing though. Don't believe the stories of Cortesse's anger.
