Excellent example. We have been compared to Man City on these forums - but they are 18 months in, started with a half decent team, not in administration or negative points. They have had 2 decent managers - and still are not a top side - haven't even got to the final of the JPT!

If we previously bid, it was rejected, and we have no intention of going back, then it is fair to say we are finished. If it was Saturday then it was the administrator who rejected it so no reason to suspect it will be resurrected

fair point - if we do end up with nothing, at the end of this season, it would be good for Pardew to know that he is more or less sorted for next year -players all bonded etc
