  1. just been on sky; can't pay wages and current bills but when sale of Kaboul goes through they will be ok. Also 'Arry saying he spoke with Avram and said if he doesn't want to sell he will pull out, and Avram told him he has to sell. Also Avram saying he knows nothing about the sale, not does Storrie!

  6. its strange, I know senior sources at Milan talk to a lot of us, but what I don't understand is why they are saying different things? FF - think you need to have another chat with Beckham to check you didn't misunderstand?
  7. they told me they had - not sure why they told you different!

  17. did you not say that then?
  18. not sure why I bother but... Tevez? Given? etc Man City spending a fortune, buying players the top teams would have liked to keep for example Tevez, Adebayor, Barry. Spending of their rivals doesn't compare - literally over £100 million behind! 18 months in and still not at top - without coming out of administration with -10. One poster on here regular compares us to Man City so use them of a good example that it doesn't happen overnight - and there pillaging of rivals and excessive spending makes us look conservative
  19. Nigel Quashie has heaped praise on fellow midfield maestro Jason Puncheon, backing him to one day become a Premier League star. The on-loan West Ham man has spent most of his career in the top flight and believes that Puncheon has the talent to make it right at the top of the English game. Quashie, 31, told the Citizen he has been impressed with on-loan Plymouth man Puncheon's talent as well as his attitude towards the game. He has also been using his own experience to pass on some pearls of wisdom to the 23-year-old and said he won't be at all surprised if he one day sees him play football in the top flight. He said: "He has got the ability to go on and play at the next level in the Championship and he could also play in the Premier League in the future I think." "But that is up to Jason, he needs a lot more consistency which he is getting towards. "He's got everything in the bag to go on and be a very good player and when you play alongside him you feel comfortable. He is a good lad too, with his feet firmly on the ground." Consistency is one word often mentioned when talking about the Dons playmaker. At times Puncheon is simply breathtaking, at others times he is frustrating. And Quashie said he has given him advice on when he should use the tricks and when he should keep it simple. "All I can do is help him and guide him in the right way, and if he keeps on doing what he is doing it won't go unnoticed. People will realise that he can step up to the next level. "For him to do it here and then go up to the Championship and then up again would be credit to himself. " Assistant boss Karl Robinson - who had a stint working as a coach at Blackburn Rovers - agreed with Quashie that Puncheon has got all the right attributes to make it to the top. And he said it is now down to the player if he wants to make that happen. He said: "It's high praise from a very good footballer to another very good footballer. "Puncheon's ability levels are of Premier League standard but top flight players are not where they are just because of their ability. "They do so many more things that make them top players. "If you look at Quashie and the way he conducts himself around the training pitch you'll see what I mean." Page 1 of
  20. MK OS says His blistering form for the Dons last season - where his strength, attacking influence and immense shooting power almost helped the men from MK to back-to-back promotions - saw a host of clubs vying for his signature this summer. But it will be Paul Ince and the Dons that benefit from Puncheon's outrageous talents this season, after the winger agreed a season-long loan at stadiummk.
