  1. Think have added all I can on football issues and form etc and am trying not to get personal so think its time to move to another thread!
  2. its not - its our strength - Trottman and Jaidi.
  3. you are aware that not a single team, in any of the four divisions can better our form over the last 5 games? Therefore no-one is close to being the finished article!
  4. This is what we are thrilled about!
  5. alps - thats the first post on here genuinely to make me lol in long time! Thanks. Your first post was fairly put. There were many football posts saying why majority think you have nothing to base your fears on, you ignore most of those and seem to play to your image. And my misquoting - wasn't really much of a change and many a true word and all that!
  6. guess he will be cheap as here, keen, unproven elsewhere and nearing end of contract
  7. article says allowed to play in cup
  8. Trottman and Mellis not allowed to play http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4717593.Antonio_extends_loan_deal/
  9. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4717593.Antonio_extends_loan_deal/ extended to Jan and available for cup
  10. but unfortunately some have spotted the obvious downward trend in form;)
  11. sums it up really!
  12. ok, if you are only interested in the bottom line (nothing like op but still will humour your defensiveness!) Results - over 2 months -plenty of time for other scouts to watch how we play; D 2-2 W 3-1 W 3-1 W 3-1 W after pens W 4-1 L 2-3 D 1-1 W 2-0 D 1-1 D 0-0 Can't see too much of a problem, can you?
  13. get her a season ticket
  14. but that all applies to every winning team at any time??
  15. without wishing to intrude on you and St will there are many posts on here saying why they think you are wrong, without getting personal - why don't you discuss those instead of his? e.g. to answer your point; I don't think there is a problem. I haven't seen the away games in this run but in the MK game, for example, there was nothing in their game that looked like they were prepared/able to cope with us. Their fans report, which someone put on here, described them as rabbits in the headlights at the start. We were totally on top, very one-sided for the first 1/4 of the game. This isn't a sudden change of form that people are going to catch onto - we have been playing very well for weeks now. The Bristol game was a very good performance and our style was apparent. At the moment can't see this is an issue at all
  16. that's not optimism - thats all facts. Your post is actually more optimistic - we only need a little luck and no injuries for play offs! Hope you are right. Forget about the relegation zone - the league table is not relevant for us for a while yet!
  17. not since we signed Trottman and Jaidi. If teams preparation is thinking crosses is our weakness they aren't preparing well! If they we beating us for speed down the middle maybe. Alps - there is nothing for you to base this concern on, accept the reassurance from everyone who has posted on this thread and relax!
  18. other may follow this "cross ball into defenders knee and over keeper" game plan.
  19. (and as I explained in earlier post with MK example - teams are not coping with us or better prepared)
  20. we are not the best team in the world. but we are probably in the top 3 teams at least in this division. we are playing attractive attacking football we are scoring lots of goals we are on an unbeaten run we have a manager who talks sense we never hear from the owner we are debt free we are getting bigger crowds than premiership clubs ENJOY IT!
  21. wonder what age it is when they suddenly go from being fun to one of the most unpleasant experiences you can manage?
  22. to answer your point; I don't think there is a problem. 23. you know you are everyone favorite pantomime villain and its that time of year!
  24. Alpine -others have made very fair points about why this is a strange one to start, maybe answer those rather than the personal ones? Of course teams prepare but we are hardly looking like its a problem at the moment.
  25. sounds fair.
