when they were lower than us I never saw them as rivals and still loved my football. A club whose fans wreck their own town and pull in tiny crowds while claiming they are a bid supported club would not be missed. I would quite happily see them go!

What? Totally wrong. To interview about an offence you have to be cautioned - thats it. You can be arrested - if its needed. charged means that the CPS have reviewed the case, post interview, and believe there is a reasonable chance of a successful prosecution, i.e. a court will find him guilty.

its like grammar, what is strictly "wrong" by academic views/records can actually become correct by common usage. I realise the OED def and the bank holiday history etc. Just shows how argumentative and pedantic this site can be! Can imagine your conversation when a colleague says "oh Saints are home to Exeter on Boxing Day" "No," Trousers replies. "Actually its not Boxing Day, you need to look at the Oxford Dictionary definition, Boxing Day is actually the holiday for the first working day after Christmas, you are thinking of..." Trousers looks around and realises his colleague has disappeared.

Its not a misconception there are two schools of thought. One that it is common term for day after Christmas, the other that it sits with next working day - as that is how it started i.e. an extra holiday.
