Would this current Saints side survive in league 1?
NickG replied to gjphilsaint's topic in The Saints
errr everyone -
I would pick John ahead of DMg at the moment. Skacel - I don't know the situation, if he is sulking and unreliable no, but if he is going to play to his potential yes I would play him.
-
losing Lallana would be huge disappointment for me, he is going to be a very good player - already is a good player, with an inform striker (another debate) he would ne making a hatful of goals. Him, Holmes and Schneiderlin were starting to look a good midfield

this is the one I looked at; http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/oform.html out of relegation zone in current form and league -albeit only just. so why would we be in the relegation zone in easier league? -

that looking at a team relegated could get promoted, I read the post as asking whether our current team (i.e. not in relegation zone of CCC) would survive (i.e. be in relegation zone of Div 1) -maybe I am missing the point??? -
we had had a play off season since lowe left then went into relegation zone whilst NP and LC were at the helm - think that one is stretching the blame lowe for everything a bit!

Letting SAGA/DAVIES GO! Is it our biggest mistake?

as we are currently surviving (out of bottom 3) both in league and current form tables -why wouldn't we survive a league lower? -
its easy to get rid of staff but they are in effect owners -unless someone wants to buy and can afford to -and invest -we have them
-
its Wilde who would need to change his view - again. Of course its disgusting how low we are and how far we have fallen but the season is far from over both league table and current form have us just above the relegation places -think 4 points clear from memory - not defending our position at all but its not time to yet to give up hope and look at div 1.
-
you are deluded if you think the last change (that I supported) was for the best
-
solution -what find that elusive billionaire? you seem to be really struggling with my point in this thread -this forum would be impossible for any of us to read if each post went on a new thread -that was my only point, there was nothing different is this thread that couldn't justifyably be posted on another existing one. Still making the point. totally agree we all have the right to complain, never said otherwise - although some conspiracy theories get ridiculous, e.g. Euell's dislocated shoulder made up by Lowe to save money! No rose tinted, don't know why you say that - I saw pathetic defending yesterday and not said otherwise. No-one has to pay, choice for the individual. I am still glad I went and will continue to do so - hopefully with more enjoyable results.
-
does anyone know the real reason, not petty name calling, that Wilde decided Lowe is a better option than Couch?
-
god you are boring! ok have another thread. I support saints not a board member, try it. By the way I had nothing to do with Lowe return (although supported his replacement with Wilde) and nothing to do with JP's appointment so have nothing to be embaressed about - well apart from the usual as saints fan! Actually surprised how many fed up with some of the pettiness from anti-Lowes on that thread.
-
think that is pushing the anti-lowe conspiracy theory! he got Euell to pull his shoulder out of the socket or at least pretend to!
-
Lowe and JP are being mentioned by many posters including me on the 20 or so threads already running on this. My point and sorry if it was not clear to you, was that we didn't need a new thread when there are numerous already on exactly the same - not saying shouldn't comment just put it in the other threads
-
JP is sometimes refreshingly niave/honest in interviews - he said that AD's agent had told him that he wanted to leave and had it written into his contract so there was nothing that Saints could do. Think this is more likely as don't think the club would care about us enough to make that up - and couldn't lie that openly about a player/agent/contract on radio without any comeback.
-
not sure but think there may already be a thread on Lowe/JP not being up to the job?
-
said on radio yesterday still on crutches but going well -so will be little while away.
-
Thank you for being big enough to apologise. We are all upset and just because someone doesn't think that Lowe walking away with no alternative, and that he is not 100% to blame for relegation (no more than the cup final was 100% down to him) - doesn't mean they have their head up Lowe's arse. I had a drink with Lee Hoos to celebrate Lowe's departure, is that a Lowe luvvie? I would love a knight in shining armour but there isn't one. I do think we would be worse off if he walked despite his faults and the way he upsets fans. I am also sceptical about the easy point scoring saying he picks the team etc.

Is Rupert Lowe interfering in team selection and training with SCW influence?
