think his point is that it is up everyone whether they go or not -and you can't criticise people for choosing not to go. But the more it means to you, the more likely you are to spend your money and make the effort. I don't go to away games very often at all now -due to family, work,etc. Those who go to all games are making a choice and are showing themselves to be more of a fan at the moment than me.

of course. We listen to pundits and reporters who watch us once in a blue moon etc. Thoughts opinions are all going to vary and you can make them with little personal knowledge. I have opinions on players in the premiership who I have rarely seen. Alpine has posted some balanced comments in last few days so I am not going to rake up any posting styles that I disagree with. Think we all realise we are not a great side but equally not everything needs moaning about.

I wonder what the plan is or what discussions have been made. Heard JP say the Surman is not natural LB and is playing out of position but won't be there all season - are they waiting for someone, or for funds to be ready or for a younger player to develop?

looked forward to games this season a lot more than last for some reason -maybe expectations lowered and football improved. Particularly enjoying Lallana's play.

I expect us to be a top half premiership, I therefore expect us to get promoted. ..just not yet!

not two or three games but a longer term improvement. Some go whatever, some go when football is good, others if winning, others only in premiership -each to their own.

unfortunately Surman has been a weakness at LB. I thought he would do better and was worth a go but accept those who stated his lack of either pace or strength would be a problem were probably right. JP has said that he is only covering there, out of position and it won't be all season.

I don't like Lowe nor think he is a great or even good chairman. I was chuffed when Wilde came in but have realised that whatever his faults you can't say anyone is better (mean anyone at all not saying there is no-one better!). I made that mistake before and will accept him until viable alternative comes along. I still don't particularly like the guy. I also don't buy this culture of he is totally to blame for everything bad and has no credit for any good stuff. For example relegation totally his fault -therefore was the cup final totally down to him? etc.

I didn't think the callers were that bad actually but usually expect radio presenters to jump on the easy ride of slagging off Lowe etc -wasn't saying they were right

glad I went -watching Lallana performance was worth the money on its own. If people want to watch winning team they will do and come back when results improve.
