saying don't know what fans expect, don't know what they expect Lowe to do as the club have no money and has got a good manager in and the young players are getting there playing decent football. Said the moaners are being unrealistic. It is disappointing how far we have fallen but I am enjoying supporting saints this season, would love more stability and a chairman to unite the fans -but that ain't happening - IMHO if Lowe walked without that person identified it would be a disaster. Lowe out is a totally ignorant comment without an alternative. I think JP is looking to be a good manager and am more than happy with him.

He did. Called Wooton over told him, including doing the Ted Rogers finger style 442 and Wooton then went around all players clearly telling them. It was then 442 although Lallana was bit more mobile.
-
anyone who watched game and understood what went on would have realised that JP made a key double substitution and at that time changed to 442. Therefore he showed a plan B and recovered the point.
-
I am be no means an expert in formations and tactics but think sometimes too much can be put down to whether the formation worked and often its more about whether players managed to control the ball and not misplace passes. I think the positioning of Lallana causes problems for teams as no-one picks him up. I still agree with many on here in that Surman is not the answer at LB. Would not be surprised if team on Saturday is 4 4 2.
-
jp changed to 4 4 2 after half time
-
Dennis Wise was a good central midfielder and short.
-
looked quite sharp and chased defenders well -JP more or less said him and BWP will start Saturday
-
its still very early days -did you see the thing in echo;teams in bottom three at this stage rarely go down and sometimes go up! thought we would lose tonight and win Saturday. Just done BBC championship for Saturday and we are 15th!

winning the 4 team mini league relegation lottery

such a long season winning next two, or losing them will still not make things that much more clearer -I still wouldn't panic/or be claiming we will go up either way. The talk of goal difference is ridiculous, say -and would not be totally amazing, Lallana has two great games and we win next two just 2-0 -we would have one of best goal differences. Very Early Days
-
tbf it wasn't Heskey claiming he was better!
-
I am not confident either, just not writing season off yet
-
I have seen players giving it all this season and playing deceny football
-
not won many games yet, and playing each other in champions league final 2012
-
JP seems to say similar on OS
-
goal difference - two nil win tomorrow, wouldn't be total shock, suddenly 8 teams have same or worse goal difference -with home game to come, equally could go other way but...early days!
-
why? if we aim to play well but lose then we will all be fed up but if its a choice between walking out talking about the good football having lost or losing playing carp then I would rather the Bham performance any day. And playing well suggests that on another day you will have the ability to win a game or two. Of course pretty football is not a substitute for points, it is a sport -but its entertainment and and indication of future performances
-
and how many examples of the opposite do you want, teams clear at both ends of table and changing form. Early days.
-
think he has played pretty well and was getting better.
-
no but follow the logic -have they given up on the league title which is even harder to win etc -no. It is concerning, but the performances give hope and it is very early days. Rarely is relegation or promotion clear until new year.
-
so what you are saying is we need to win games??!
-
as just mentioned in other thread -Man U are relegation zone bar goal difference!
-
because I like watching good football and we have played more in the two Bham games than we did in the last half of last season. Won one easily, lost one deseredly but still played ok at times and just edged out of the other after playing some great football and being on top for most of the game. Of course it would be better to win, but last season we played poorly, boringly lackig effort and pace at times and lost. This is a young team and its rekindled my enthusiasm seeing how they develop.

think QPR have changed a bit since then -were struggling at the bottom -now one of richest clubs in thr country
