  1. what do you mean?
  2. its more to do with the rubbish we watched last season, losing lots of games and finishing low in the league than the board. If we struggle this season the crowds will be low whether its Lowe, Crouch or Fulthorpe or who ever. If we win the crowds will return. People don't pay their money to watch the directors box, neither do they stay away cos of it.
  3. not high enough profile for us, sorry
  4. not about opinions, or right and wrong -just about people making stuff up again, this man wrote of lightweight Schneiderlin -as he had not seen him and didn't realise he was actually pretty big and strong, said he could judge the team better than those who goes, and now says business plan has got big holes in it that he has easily spotted but the accountants and bank didn't! Why shouldn;t he be asked to explain his comments? Other poster here giving his concerns about the plan etc was quite reasonable and can't have a problem with any of his comments, even if they are negative they are explained and justified
  5. ok wont bother!
  6. if thats what he meant he should learn to communicate better, what he said is... which is very different to showing concern about our finances. I thought he must have known what he was talking about and so politely asked him to share his knowledge of the plan and where the holes were with us;) but as he is hiding from answering I am starting to wonder if he could possibly be throwing a direct criticism at Saints without knowing the facts? Surely not!
  7. Rooney is a good player but no-where near the player he is meant to be. How many good games has he had for England?

    Adam Hammil

just the one Hammil fan then!
  9. sorry if its here, but has anyone posted the details of the second double page article with further questions? He talks about timescales for promotion etc -think it was play off this year but main target is premiership within 3. If no-one has detailed it and its not on echo site I can summarise it later.
  10. yours is a fair and reasonable post about justifiable concerns. No-one could have a problem with it even if they disagree. Alpine however is talking about the holes in the plan so clearly he knows what the plan is, think it would be great if he would share it with us
  11. come on alpine we are waiting on your factual reply to enlighten us? Can't be that you made something up just to slag the club off so you must have the truth, go on tell us

booing was more due to his inability to roll his portly physique the 6 inches over the line to get treatment, Would also disagree about comparisons to our wingers. Maybe he will come good but got a feeling his career has peaked

agree, he saw a lot of the ball and keen to get involved -however only gave him more opportunity to prove my points above!

from what I saw of him last season -all home games he played, pre-season friendlies and last week for Blackpool, he is a poor player at this level. Bad attitude, poor end product slow unfit gives the ball away too much can't cross very well tries risky play e.g. step overs etc, beyond his ability in his own half One of the most over-rated poor players for saints in recent years

  18. don't hold your breath....alpine...????
  19. your point, politely asking you to explain by answering my questions please?
  20. right, will try to make this simple, alpine, what is the financial plan you are criticising? ( detail please) what are the holes in it? how did you manage to spot these when the accountants and bank managers didn't? thanks
  21. where did I say that? I asked how you know this plan is full of holes?
  22. no over seas scouts -we do in this country
  23. We are all concerned but once again this post is based on what? I would suggest that the contacts at the bank who handle us are quite senior due to 1) size of business 2) current financial difficulties we are in 3) high profile of football clients. This business plan agreed would have been agreed with Lowe - whatever we think of him been involved in this for a while Cowen -seems well thought of by even Lowe's enemies as good finance man our accountants the bank And yet you, without ever seeing our accounts, the plan or knowing a single thing about our finances other than the press stuff have identified the plan is "full of holes big enough to steer the Titanic (another sinking ship) through"
  24. MLT + Kelly Holmes?
  25. that was the only answer I thought was poor -obviously avoided the detail
