probably my gut feeling but not based on much knowledge of them!

I have no idea if the rumours linking us with any of these players are true, or if we would be able to sign them over other clubs. However they all seem to be realistic but exciting potential signings. I have seen a fair bit of CMS and not sure he is worth money being spoken about. I don't know much about the other two. read this thread http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/58981-Sharp-or-Maynard/page3 Has anyone here seen enough of them to say who would be best addition to our squad? Maynard seems to be the favorite on that thread

the law is clear and fair. If you are reasonably defending you are ok, if you are handing out punishment as some idiotic earlier posts you are in the wrong

saying about fans coming to last game of season who haven't been all season isn't necessarily right. for easy maths average could be 25,000 last game could be 30,000 - but all 30,000 could be regulars. e.g. 20,000 go to every game; 10,000 pick and choose but go to about 50% - giving average of 25,000 - but all pick the celebration game therefore 30,000 regulars

press have looked very silly on this one, who knows what will happen, personally would put it at better than 50/50 he will be here next season. Will await anything official.

for who was asking about how many were penalties looks from this site that they only scored 3 as a club

was it truthful that he was at Arsenal's training groud in January and move completed? No it was made up.

Doncaster have snubbed a £2.8million bid from Southampton for striker Billy Sharp - despite losing £1.5million a year. Saints boss Nigel Adkins, who worked with Sharp during his time in charge at S****horpe, wants the hit-man to boost his side's firepower following their promotion to the Championship. But Rovers chairman John Ryan has rejected the offer out of hand - just days after revealing that the Yorkshire outfit operate at a loss of more than £1.5million a season. And, even though Donny's season ticket sales are down by 2,000 on last year's total of 6,018, Ryan still feels he can dismiss the offer from St Mary's. Rovers rejected a £2.3million bid for Sharp, 25, from Ipswich earlier this month, and are determined to hang on to the marksman they signed from Sheffield United for £1.15million last summer. He notched 16 goals for Doncaster last term - despite managing only 27 games because of hamstring and hernia problems - and has scored 31 times in 66 appearances overall for the Keepmoat side. And, under the management of Brian Laws, and then Adkins at S****horpe, he netted 53 times in just 80 outings before making a £2million move to Bramall Lane four years ago. Donny have also turned down an improved offer of £400,000 from Ipswich for playmaker James Coppinger. The midfielder, 30, was initially valued at £300,000 when Tractor Boys boss Paul Jewell made a joint £2.6million bid for Coppinger and Sharp two weeks ago.

most transfer stories are made up in the tabloids.

until someones 14 year old lad, never been in trouble, gets in with some yobs and they dare him to climb in open kitchen window to pinch 4 cans of lager - fair penalty death? No you are wrong.

didn't mean to start the whole 'big club' debate again sorry . Just was surprised at the sports reporter on talksport talking at though Chelsea had just come down not West Ham.
-
shows what I think of WHU - hardly have them in awe, just another club about same size as Cov!!
-
agree - what is big club?? they have done about same as many of those clubs I listed in our lifetimes (think we are about same age) and all those clubs listed wuold get late 20's early 30's in prem - can't see any criteria that would put them "easily biggest" club in this league, one of the biggest half dozen is about all they can claim!
-
he reckoned by far the biggest club, without a doubt -err Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Middlesborough, Coventry, Notts F, saints, - are all similar to West Ham.
-
not sure about either bit of that
-
that West Ham reporter on talksport was going on yesterday how they are easily biggest side in league and will comfortably get promoted
-
thought Puncheon was excellent in CM for MK. Maybe his ego will take a knock if no bids come in!
-
DellDays won't agree - the trophy was delivered with Nolan!
-
Dave - season before 90 points!?
-
still to be convinced West Ham will go up, know DellDays thinks they are walking it but there is still a lot wrong with the club - if they don't have a good start pressure will be intense
-
looking back at those, best we had in season was 9, until Rickie's 20 season before last and 12 this season, Lallana 13 this season. 20 assists is pretty impressive on top of 35 goals!
