I don't think people did listen to it

was about to join the moaning but listened to link... 'football is based on opinion so you have got to take it on the chin, love players / dressing room at southampton' few leading questions but can't see what he said wrong.

our takeover was 9 July which gave time to get new manager in plus players. Hope theirs take longer!
-
Norwich has shown def possible and achievable - doesn't mean it is likely

Sorry for short previous posts. Kevin Philips has contract offer to help a team get back to premiership - not sure how many ex=prem sides in championship at mo, but it doesn't include B'ham, guess unlikely to be WHU as without manager

No someone else.

Kev Philips has contract offer from club to help get them back to prem

Why would west ham be above us
-
West Ham are £110m in debt. Players will be leaving, parachute payment is £16m. They do not have a manager. Their board seem to want to self destruct which will hamper attracting a good manager (as will lack of money for salary or players) and board seem to want to continually undermine managers - Zola and Grant. Their fans hate their owners - and players! Don't understand predictions of doing well.
-
No they didn't, heard holloway after the game, they didn't deserve it - maybe only getting 14 points in 2011 and letting in 49 goals (21 games) isn't relegation form
-
reckon West Ham will struggle and be towards the bottom
-
why? Are we being slow in signing??!! I think we are stronger than Norwich were this time last year and they added mainly lower league players - but played very well as a team. Hard to compare
-
you might be ok, the kids may have left home by then.
-
viafara?? Reckon Hammond and Chaplow both better
-
1) because signed 5 year contract in 2008 (?) and therefore not out of contract and automatically retained. 2) maybe Saints think he is more than good enough for a 3rd choice keeper in CCC?

Murray signs for Palace http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/Sport.cfm?id=18574&headline=Brighton

exactly. Will we want a 31 year old LB next season, who for last 10 years has played 10 games a season?

where had those 6 player been playing?
-
Brighton - but have also lost their top scorer!
-
it was valid point - poster implied we need a team packed with ex-prem stars, we don't. Have said before, assuming no-one leaves, to be top 5 side we need to make 2 or 3 top quality signings at least. If not we are likely to be 6 to 10th ish. No need to get arsey!
-
who finished below Norwich who we beat last season twice, we have strengthened since and do not have a squad of ex-prem sides!
-
Norwich's first signings was 25 May last year and we are told on here they needed a major overhaul. As retained lists are drawn up we may start seeing movement but we are still weeks away from the busy part for transfers
-
don't think squad will stay the same so not much point in predicting, but reckon we are around a 6th to 10th team if things went well. Two top quality signings and we should be very optimistic.
-
That squad is big enough, and I suspect good enough for top half. However, top positions in championship is a much more attractive option than league 1 so hope we are looking at adding real quality if we can. If Ox-C stays I cannot see how we could realistically improve wide midfield at all. Think defence are all pretty good - maybe CB but as renewed Jaidi and Martin that is 4 - so unless someone leaving or being loaned out not sure we are looking there. Good teams often have real stars in CM and CF. I hope that Morgan and Lambert could do that - but would like real quality, experienced but still at peak players for these positions.
