  1. If I was as smart as you I would put crap on here as well.
  2. Why ask the question on here, I've just put on here what was in the Echo including the organisers email address. If your interested email him.
  3. If he is anti Lowe he needs to be involved, this meeting is the result of a previous meeting in Wickham last week. The Echo only printed the story last night, it wasn't on their web site, but you don't know how long they sat on it. I put it on here after reading the Echo as I thought it deserved support.
  4. Ron, I don't know anybody in the trust, I only know what I have seen, and I don't have any time for it at all. I perceived it to be an attempt by a few to set up a trust to give them influence in the club and maybe a seat on the board. I think it was a failure and is now seen as such. It really is not the appropriate vehicle to take a shareholders association forward, I like this new initiative and wish it well, it has fresh legs and deserves support.
  5. Tonight, 7pm at the De Vere Hotel. Organiser Mike Fenner a season ticket holder/fed up shareholder, trying to start a body to represent anti Lowe shareholders, and to bring together as many shares as possible into a block to try and oust Lowe. It will of course need the larger shareholders, but it is the first time anybody has tried to bring in all the shares opposing Lowe into a cohesive block. As there is probably at least a third of the issued shares not accounted for it could be a mechanism to oust him. It's a private initiative and is open to all shareholders. If some of the larger shareholders went, it would really set the ball rolling, and surely get Lowe's attention. I am not a shareholder, but I might now buy some shares to help.
  6. The percentage was of the votes cast not the number of shares issued. Crouch/Corbett have about 16% of the shares, about 17% of the issued shares, they didn't vote.
  7. See where you are coming from. It started so well in August and really looked promising, then they stopped playing.
  8. As an outsider, the trust appears to me to be a busted flush, serving no useful purpose. Good on those trying to do something, critics only ever sit on their hands, it's the safe thing to do, nothing!
  9. Hi Bill, Happy new year, you only seem to post on the non football threads, aren't you interested any more.
  10. The organiser is called Mike Fenner, a ST holder, email at mikefenner@saveoursaints (presumably .co.uk or .com) It's the address in the Echo. A shareholders association to collect all anti Lowe shareholdings is a good idea. I think more than 50% is owned by non Lowe axis shareholders.
  11. I think they are trying to get something moving now, It's all shareholders invited, email mikefenner@saveoursaints ( presumably .co.uk or .com).
  12. Apologies, it's tomorrow night at 7pm 23/1/09. A lapse in concentration I'm afraid.
  13. Sorry, the date is 23/1/09 @ 7pm.
  14. In the Echo tonight also Email: mikefenner@saveoursaints. This article was critical of Lowe and is to try and start to unite shareholders to try and get him out. The meeting is at 7pm and all are invited. This for me is the way to go, form a shareholders association and draw together all the anti Lowe shareholders, hopefully including Leon Crouch, Mary Corbett, Patrick Trant, Lawrie McMenemy etc eventually.
  15. No comment.
  16. Still on here using a new name.
  17. Well now Ron, that really is a surprise.
  18. We wouldn't go into administration.
  19. So the club is going into administration. I'm sure Rupert and Michael have the clubs interest and future at heart. We know that they can't invest to save the club, but there is something else they could do. The shares in the club would be worthless if we go into administration. That means that they would be in a good position to help the club. They should donate their and their supporters shares, and ask every shareholder to donate theirs to Leon Crouch, who will pay £2m off the bank debt in receipt. Crouch will then own the club and the rest can exit stage left, and we don't go into administration. So come on Rupert, Michael for the good of the club, how about it?
  20. Talk of demonstrations, Echo/radio, Armstrong, etc, then a rumour of imminent adminisration to take the eye off the ball. Cross that bridge when we come to it. If it happens, it will be about the first rumour that came true. For me wait and see.
  21. Bloody amazing in the Echo tonight, two double pages and everybody talking about Lowe/Portvliet and nobody talking about football.
  22. I'm really only interested in using the squad we have and getting the best out of them. Outside players would be great but I'm only talking about where we are at, at this moment.
  23. We have, but they don't discipline themselves to do the job, Lallana, McLaggon, BWP, James, I'm not sure whether Smith is natural right/left, could all make a go of the right side, Holmes is fine, but Skacel could do a good job as well. Probably Smith, but it's how they play that counts.
