Before I celebrate letting him go I would like to make a judgement on whether we spend the money and spend it correctly. Everyday at the mo it seems we are going to sign someone and nothing happens. Its not a good thing letting him go but 15 million is a lot for someone who hasnt hardly played a season. We have won pretty much every game since march when he was injured at charlton. I reckon we should sign a cb a cf and a quick winger. If de ridder or lallana get injured we arent that strong in that area now unless we keep punchon and even then we have no one with a lot of pace in midfield unless u include forte who isnt good enough to start. I believe we tried everything to keep him but he desperately wanted to leave.

Have you not read my other posts I am on the bus ffs I went to nearly every away game and home game last season and went today and am absolutely over the moon, hes done a good job in the main I agree, jesus. Absolutely chuffed. Thought we were superb tbh. I was apprehensive going to the game as wanted morgan to play and jaidi. However, hammond was great. Morgan played 24 minutes anyway and adkins said after he will see lots of game time this season and he is class. Jaidi was injured. We need another centre back, martin tried hard and did well but we need better imo. Reckon the manager is class. What hes best at is tactics and getting the players properly prepared befor and after matches with his lastest recovery techniques. Look at connolly we thought he was finished hes hardly been injured since adkins came and jaidi was finished and then played nearly every game last season. Chuffed.
