Well, feels like we’re up against a side that it’s very possible for us to beat, which isn’t a bad position to be in for an FA Cup Semifinal!
-
YELLOWS!
-
Difficult to say that for certain as Ipswich weren’t going all out for a win today.
-
That Rochdale pitch invasion has to go down as the worst of all time? 😅
-
Big part of the reason Millwall struggled tonight was the injuries to their attackers, just need to hope they have 'one of those days' against Oxford now, assuming we do our bit to take it to the last day of the season.
-
That bent lino in the Bristol game looking costly to us now.
-
To be fair, that same defending was worth at least three points to us.
-
Not sure how the Millwall player has stayed on the pitch after that.
-
Not unless we see a 40+ relegation again. Imagine West Ham going down with 42 points again!
-
Not as cruel as it’d be if we hammer Ipswich and end up going up on goals scored
-
Depends how Leicester react to being down. Sometimes that frees up a team a bit, especially as Leicester still have mostly a squad of weak Prem players, albeit playing awfully.
-
Point at least just about keeps us in the automatic hunt, still only two results needed outside our control, albeit they both need to be losses and goal difference is back in the equation. That said, a point and keeping the unbeaten run going doesn’t feel like a bad result given the OG and that display of ‘officiating’.
-
Two results outside our control needed now, with the added bonus that goal difference is now irrelevant as long as we keep our results going and those two results we need come in.
-
Goal difference advantage isn’t that big for Ipswich, Boro win puts 3rd firmly in our own hands, especially if we beat Ipswich by two for a four goal swing.
-
We’d still need them to drop more points aside from losing to us, but it does take goal difference out of the equation if they do drop those points.
-
I still think about that shot Pires cleared off the line to save Arsenal from facing extra time against us in the FA Cup final. Feels like the current team has a similar attitude of knowing they can squeeze teams right to the end of games, although that’s a little more down to squad depth now than it was then.

YES!

GERRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!

Last time I saw a set of results like ours was when I got fed up with a football manager save and made a copy to save scum with

Down to two results outside of our control needed to have automatic promotion in our own hands. Any Millwall dropped points 6 goals to make up on Ipswich now. They have to lose one for us to have a chance, that’s one of those six, beat Ipswich, that’s at least two of them, leaves only three to make up over Ipswich in every other game (plus any extra goals against Ipswich effectively count double in making up those six)

Indeed. Meanwhile, Ukraine have flipped the calculation on defending drone attacks, their interceptor drones are cheaper than the drones they're destroying now, and being produced quicker than Russia can produce them, especially with Iran otherwise distracted. They're also able to launch low cost attacks, some of them with jointly developed British-Ukrainian drones. Normally the high oil price would be invaluable to Russia, but Ukraine have been able to hammer their oil infrastructure so much that even with the high price, their oil industry is operating at a loss, not to mention the unsustainable cost of their ongoing war. With Putin (and Trump) losing Orban's leverage over EU aid to Ukraine, it's not an insignificant development.
-
Not quite, need at least two others (three if we can’t make up the goal difference) as they have a game in hand.
-
Up to fourth being in our own hands at things stand! Just three results needed outside our control to have an outside chance of automatics, albeit two needed from Ipswich. Unlikely, but nonetheless, huge stride taken towards the playoffs today!
