  1. So sorry to hear this. Sincere condolences to yourself and all those connected to him. RIP Elijah

‘Tis a real shame that it’s ended with a bad injury. He’s been a huge asset to Saints, and he’ll be missed.
  3. You mean Che Adams’ song this season and one of the most generic ‘crowd goes wild’ songs in the history of music? It’s like if we were claiming that Leeds using a Coldplay song for something was all about us.
  4. There's a surprise, Leeds fans trying to claim everything is about them. They're always either annoyed that they're not considered a big club any more, or annoyed that they're getting attention. It's no wonder they always seem to have a chip on their shoulder.
  5. In that case it’s not soon, he literally already is.
  6. Seems less likely now. There will be a lot of people loudly shouting that they’re more likely to vote Trump, mostly made up of those who were already going to vote Trump, but the difference will be made by the voters who quietly think on the day that maybe they won’t bother going to go and vote for a convicted felon.
  7. With it all finally starting to sink in, I don’t think it’s possible to understate just how much Alex McCarthy’s professionalism has contributed to us getting promoted. To spend most of the season as the third choice keeper with his contract running down, and still keep his sharpness up to the point that he comes in for Bazunu with no fuss the way he did, putting in performances at the level he did in some of the highest pressure games in football… ‘tis an absolute credit to him. We could easily have been sitting here pointing to a season ending injury for our first choice keeper as a major factor in failing to get promoted today were it not for that professionalism.
  8. Indeed. It’s worth remembering that VAR was welcomed when it was bought in, due to referees making massive blunders that everyone could see in replays a few seconds later. Going right back to that certainly wouldn’t be ideal. Obviously it’s partly down to the decisions that were thrown VAR’s way on Sunday, but they seemed to strike the right balance of VAR involvement for once.
  9. Seen it a few times, but this was a surprise to see
  10. I went along, that was fun!
  11. Between Luke Littler, Man Utd, and us, it’s not been the best few days for Leeds fans
  12. Hell of a strong season to get promoted from, even if we did have to take the scenic route!
  13. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! 😇
  14. They could try it I guess, but it’d mean playing a system they’re not as familiar with, and put even less pressure on our tactic of playing out from the back.
  15. Their midfield tends to leave too much space, which is likely to give us the lion’s share of possession and limit Leeds’ chances by itself, their high press isn’t good enough to stop us playing out through it, which leaves them vulnerable when they try it, and if they push defenders forward to try and help deal with our stronger midfield, they’re not quick enough to deal with balls in behind.
  16. I see Leeds as having an absolutely terrible match up tactically against us. As long as we don’t go missing for the final and we don’t have terrible luck, Leeds won’t be able to do an awful lot about it.
  17. Incredible performance by Atalanta to end Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten run, the best result in their history. Leverkusen have already created history of course, but must be gutting to get so close to the invincible treble and miss out. Doubt any team will get that close again in my lifetime.
  18. Not sure about the lowest required, but Forest’s 32 this season is the lowest total to stay up. https://www.premierleague.com/news/3932287 Also Man Utd finishing on negative goal difference…
  19. Bayer Leverkusen complete the first ever invincible season in the Bundesliga. If only we’d freed Tella to go to Burnley, I’m sure he’d have had a far better time…
  20. Near perfect performance, almost complete control of the game!
  21. That’s shameful by the ref.
