  1. Welsh teams are in the English leagues because the Welsh league didn't exist when they were created. If it had existed they wouldn't have been allowed to join. As the biggest potential Welsh fanbases are covered by the clubs in the English leagues, it's probably had quite a significant impact on the size of the domestic Welsh league.

  3. Vestergaard's arms were in a natural position and he didn't have time to get out the way. Alderweireld had the same time but his arms aren't in a natural position. We've been shafted. Again.
  4. Moss shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our games.
  5. Robbed. Again.
  6. Handball by Alderwiereld before the foul?
  7. Had to be.
  8. Surely offside? He was right in front of the keeper's eyeline...
  9. Cheating ****
  10. Would have been soft but seen them given. More disappointed that Moss is involved with our games at all again.
  11. Moss on VAR >_<
  12. Damn. Tweaked hamstring by the look of it.
  13. Playing well, looks like Ings is finally starting to get back to match sharpness.
  14. Everyone seems to have shown a bit more against the ESL clubs
  15. GERRIN! Jeez... would have traded that for a bit more attack against Leicester...

  17. The only source I've seen for that so far is one of the Barca mouthpiece papers. Interested to find out if it's actually true, but at the moment I'm leaning more towards doubting it.
  18. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/04/21/future-premier-league-tv-deals-could-contain-legal-clauses-prevent/ The last few days may well have been the last chance of a breakaway ESL ever being anything like realistic.
  19. The reason the clubs took the threat from Boris Johnson seriously is that they knew he'd have the full backing of the fans. That would have given him a lot of leeway in terms of bringing in legislation, it would have been a massive vote winner for him. As for never stepping foot inside a stadium...
  20. Between the reputation damage they've taken, as well as the fact it looks like they've gone far enough that they're probably triggering penalty clauses by leaving, it's likely they've blown a fairly sizeable hole in their budget. Considering this was basically a money grab... that went well.
  21. The Neville bit cracks me up
  22. I'd missed this happening before, looks like there are some consequences already starting to hit Liverpool.
