On the Daily Mail sight about a week ago...hate it when THEY get things right
-
At the game I was highly critical of the ref but having watched this I need to eat humble pie and keep quiet.
-
Just let me know in advance and I can stay away until kick off as do not want to get arrested.
-
The match against Man U is on first row sports this evening,
-
Just a thought, we have had the 3 refs who prefer to let the game flow in our superb home wins against Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea and some pundits would say this would suit the "superior" teams. Today Jon Moss did not give his first foul until over 15 minutes had been played, I think it points out what a good footballing side we have become.

Anyone know of a bar in Gambia showing game... -
No Nick it was not a misjudgement you were just wrong and do not try to use the arrival of MP as a justification

Who will be leaving (players from NA's era)?
OLDER BUT WISER replied to melmacian_saint's topic in The Saints
The most futile thread yet for me, so many of you said WHO with MP and now you seem to think you know all about him -
I have been watching Saints for over 50 years and I would like to thank NA so much for what you have achieved, you will not have the local history of Ted and Lawrie to support my comments but for all of us who have been on the bus for the last 3 years you have done brilliantly. May I wish you all the best in whatever the future brings you and I hope you find a chairman who genuinely knows what you are capable of and supports you.

Aren't we getting a little carried away?

I have read hundreds of posts today and I find myself siding with those who say we have lost all respect today and any fan who says I do not give a s...t as long as we are successful then think how you would feel if you were treated like this -
When he joined us a Jock friend said he was the best player in Scottish football..enough said

Gazza has been in goal for all of our points this season so why change it.
-
Just a quick question...why has nobody employed Hoddle or Strachan for ages
-
Surely thats good news.......
-
1-1 great goal from Sinclair
-
De Ridder does not know when to get rid of the ball
-
I notice that the under 21's at Man Ure is showing that it will be streamed on First Row sports tonight.

JRod is Rickys natural replacement and it could be sooner rather than later -
My youngest grandson is now on his third season ticket and he will not be 5 until October and he has seen them in 3 divisions already (well will next week). His total hero is Kelvin and he cried last year when he did not play (sadly so did I after Barts display)

Good interview and I like the fact that he sets his goals at such a high standard. Maybe we need to learn the song that the Gills fans used.

What Games Are You Missing This Season Then And Why!?!
OLDER BUT WISER replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
Will miss the Leeds game as going to Cyprus for my sons wedding and will miss Brighton when on a break in November but now the major problem, I am taking the family to Kenya for a big birthday next April and will miss Skates and Reading and will be on safari with probably no phone reception for the the big one. Will still be there in sprit though. COYR -
Had a great time on the away trip, I found a £10 note (probably the equivalent of £100 today ) so we went and paid for a cabin and 3 bottles of scotch and a crate of beer, sorry if it was one of our fans who lost it and actually surprised we got to the ground. I was the responsible adult for a couple of 15 year olds and I hope their parents do not read this. I know it sound very corny but those were the days.
