Up to 5817 tickets for Palace away - SOLD OUT

He's the chairman, I believe. -
The one Dan's talking about is from Hedge End - the Southern trains don't stop there.

Don't forget the Pompey game is over Easter, so I expect a lot of people will have made plans to go away that weekend. Also expect many of those assumed it would be televised...
-
Not everyone will want to go to the Pompey game for whatever reason. I'm assuming Donny are bringing a very small following tomorrow, which has allowed us to open up extra blocks in the Northam for home fans. I wouldn't bother going down into the Northam concourse at half-time as a result, it'll be worse than usual
-
I don't think they've said anywhere that buying for tomorrow's game guarantees you a Pompey ticket, they've always said it's first-come, first-served. If people who buy for tomorrow miss out on a Pompey ticket, they've only themselves to blame, they've had more than enough time.

Jos and Jose best centre back pairing in Championship?
stevegrant replied to Big_Bald_Si's topic in The Saints
He's only played a couple of games there recently, for most of the season he's been at centre-back alongside Abdoulaye Faye. -
No point going to Waterloo as you'll end up back at Clapham Junction anyway. When you buy your train ticket, get a return to either Thornton Heath or Selhurst station (will be pennies difference between the two, if any).
-
The Football League highlights are available on the BBC website two days after the game. For the PL, you're best off downloading the ESPN Goals app (free) onto your phone. I'm not sure there's any website that's allowed to show PL highlights.
-
Worth bearing in mind that the "via Barnham" route takes almost twice as long as going via Clapham Junction and there's only one an hour (if you're lucky)
-
You can't buy GroupSave tickets online, if you want to buy in advance (no real advantage of doing so), you'd have to do so at a station ticket office. Also, the online booking systems don't appear to recognise that the 9th is a bank holiday, so the fares are ****ing ridiculous

No problem, Coventry have a very kind set of fixtures at home, they'll win most of them and stay up.
-
Worth noting that the UEFA FFP regulations only apply to clubs seeking to play in European competition. We wouldn't be in a position to do so for at least a year, and many would (rightly) argue that it may be entirely unrealistic to expect us to be anywhere near qualifying for Europe just two years after playing in the third tier

Ignoring statistical probability in favour of a load of clichés and a wild guess
-
Do they look likely to do that at the moment? Posh have remembered how to score goals, West Ham can't score more than one at the moment. In fact, since the beginning of December, they've only scored more than one goal on three occasions (18 league games).
-
Any half-decent manager would fully expect to have them in the top 2. With the budget they have compared to every other team in the league (and I include serial mentalists Leicester in that), they should already have one foot back in the Premier League, and it's a damning indictment on Allardyce's management that they actually look like outsiders behind us and Reading at the moment.

Are we still unpleasant club to deal with?
stevegrant replied to thorpie the sinner's topic in The Saints
SFC has absolutely no control over who is allowed access to other clubs' stadia. -

I expect there are a number of local journalists who would strongly disagree. -
Up to 5817 tickets for Palace away - SOLD OUT
stevegrant replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
Why do you bother constantly spouting such absolute ********? The OS article said we had an initial allocation of just over 3,000, which could rise to 5,817. It's fair to assume that we won't have all of those tickets available immediately, we'd have to request the extra batch from Palace. -
Depends on the pricing structure. I would argue that for many, we've not been away from the top flight long enough for games against Man United, Arsenal, etc to be deemed a novelty. We saw this season that the number of ST holders actually dropped despite promotion, so they will need to strike the right balance between maximising revenue and making the price attractive enough for new/returning ST holders to want to buy.

An excellent response by the Echo there It will all end in tears down there, Demin is Gaydamak Lite

Coventry will stay up

Wow The Boros

No idea. I have a vague recollection that Ivan de la Peña scored one or two for Barca, but that's about all I can remember.

Away, I think we lost 4-0. Probably the only time we ever actually wore that horrendous "ecru" away shirt
