Correct, to the best of my knowledge. This is why most smaller clubs insist that their top players hand in a transfer request in order to get a move away. It's a bonus that would be due on completion of the full duration of the contract.

If you remember back to that Panorama programme (strangely, neither Redknapp, Kevin Bond or Sam Allardyce ever did follow up their threats to take legal action), they had set up a meeting in a hotel bedroom to hand over a bung to a PL manager, before Mike Newell opened his big mouth and the meeting was hastily cancelled by said manager... guess who that manager (allegedly) was?

John Gorman had no problem working with England when he was Glenn Hoddle's assistant

The Monday is the day of the winding-up hearing.

You genuinely believe that? Oh noes, that nasty man Rupert wouldn't let poor Harry spunk millions of pounds that we didn't have, and insisted that we play a system which rendered the midfield entirely redundant, hence why the one half-decent player we did look to sign (Andy Reid) told us to **** off when we were given permission to discuss terms with him.

That would be Private Eye, the most-sued publication in British legal history?

And every time they've tried so far, they've ****ed it up. I know which way my money would be going...

GroupSave is by far the cheapest option, but requires 4 people. 4 return tickets for the price of 2.

The Suarez case wouldn't have even made it to trial on a criminal case, but as soon as the CPS decided there was insufficient evidence for a prosecution, the FA would have been perfectly entitled to then begin their own investigation, which could/would have produced the same outcome, only much later. Terry is unfortunate that a member of the public made a complaint to the police, which obliged them to investigate. Had they not done so, the FA could have then stepped in and hit him with a similar punishment to Suarez.

This assumes that the wages are being subsidised. Fortunately, we're averaging crowds of nearly 26,000 this season, have increased broadcast revenue by around £4-5m compared to last season, and had the small matter of a £12m injection of funds from Arsenal in August.

"You may harm your defence if you do not mention something which you later rely on in court"
-
I imagine that would be filed under Contempt of Court as it could/would prejudice a criminal trial.
-
That's because Terry's one is being tried as a criminal case rather than a civil one. If the CPS wants to bring charges against someone, there's not an awful lot the FA can do about it. Suarez himself admitted that he called Evra "negrito", and the experts the independent panel consulted were pretty clear in their assertion that it was stated in a derogatory manner.

You've got to hand it to AA, he has brass balls. ****ing hell.

Ken Bates can **** right off

I think they're right with the "former parent company" bit, Chainrai basically repossessed the football club from CSI so he now owns it again.

In the league, 8 starts and 7 sub appearances. Also 2 starts in the Carling Cup.

Should point out that DSM's name is not Mike McCarthy. Any link with a Mike McCarthy posting under a similar/identical username on another forum is entirely coincidental.

Except there's one fundamental difference between us and you - we have saleable assets. If we were in a situation where we *had* to sell players - which we're certainly not - there would be plenty of interest. On a slightly unrelated note, in the past I've been very cynical about any Pompey fans bleating on about how the situation they find themselves in is all the fault of the Premier League/Football League for letting these people in, while the likes of Mandaric was more than happy to flog the club for a profit and they lapped it all up at the time despite countless warnings of what was likely to happen. However, on this occasion I've a modicum of sympathy for the view that the Football League could have done more. As Ho has said on most of his three daily posts for the last year, every deal is scrutinised by the Football League, and they were the ones who approved the club's business plan which relied upon CSI pumping in yet more money of dubious origin. They could easily have said "no, you will work to a business plan that doesn't involve cash injections from external sources", and Pompey would have had to comply.

Bristol City and Leicester both did the double over us by pressing us particularly high up the pitch, which strangled us and forced us to rush our play and as a result make lots of mistakes. Most clubs in this division don't play that way (I'd argue both of those sides don't normally play that way either but adapted their tactics specifically against us), and don't have the players capable of playing that way.

Considering you were on here insisting that Chainrai had paid the tax bill (link), I'll take the option of disregarding anything you say on the matter. You clearly know the square root of **** all.
