  1. Well by the looks of things you don't clean many windows either !! Should the ladybirds not be red and white in keeping with the tenous Saints connection ?
  2. Ok, for sure at least one of those will not win.
  3. Nobody went splat
  4. I know a few people on here play online at chess.com which is an excellent site. They have just launched a new secure site for kids to learn and it is free: http://www.chesskid.com/
  5. No, don't do it !!
  6. Avoid Saints, Chelsea should win as Liverpool will be knackered, ditto Fulham. You could include Spuds and hope they lose ! I'll copy this just for interests sake though Matt Nesbitt who wrote it does have some very good results: The Perfect Ten It's extremely difficult to land 10 perfect match result bets but at this time of the season with some teams having very little to play for it becomes almost impossible. But here's our stats based picks for the up and coming games... Match Stats Pick Referee Birmingham v Burnley Birmingham P. Walton Man City v Aston Villa Draw M. Clattenburg Portsmouth v Wolves Draw M. Jones Stoke v Everton Draw H. Webb Tottenham v Bolton Tottenham C. Foy Liverpool v Chelsea Chelsea A. Wiley Fulham v West Ham Fulham A. Marriner Sunderland v Man Utd Man Utd S. Bennett Wigan v Hull Wigan P. Dowd Blackburn v Arsenal Draw M. Atkinson I'll be placing a Treble bet this weekend on Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United all winning at 13/5. Stat of the Week Man City v Aston Villa Sat 1st May, 3pm Referee: M. Clattenburg Pos. Pld W D L Pts Man City 6th 35 17 12 6 63 Aston Villa 5th 36 17 13 6 64 The stats indicate a 'high' corner total in this encounter between two teams chasing the final Champions League spot... * 66% of Man City's games this season have gone Over 10.5 Corners * 80% of Aston Villa's games have gone Over 10.5 Corners * 12 out of Man City's 17 (70%) home games have gone Over 10.5 Corners * 15 out of Aston Villa's 18 (83%) away games have gone Over 10.5 Corners * 17 of Aston Villa's last 18 games have gone Over 10.5 Corners - 94% Man City's home games have been producing an average of 12 corners while Aston Villa's away games have been averaging 13.2. Aston Villa and Man City drew 1-1 at Villa Park earlier in the season - the match produced 12 corners.
  7. I doubt there'll be many fans at all there though I imagine Wolves will bring a fair few to celebrate their survival and wave goodbye to the cheats in blue.
  8. I haven't seen one ladybird TBH
  9. I knew what was coming Always remember how early the FA Cup Final was that year. RIP Bobby and Ossie, you helped to make so many dreams come true and so many fantastic memories
  10. Newmarket 3.05 2000 Guineas Xtension ew : Not surprisingly St Nicholas Abbey is a clear favourite and is hard to oppose. However, at around 5/4 and quite likely to shorten further it may pay to look for an ew option. Canford Cliffs and Azwaan are likely to run well at decent prices but Xtension has impressed on 4 previous starts, the trip should not be a problem and currently trading at a best priced 22/1 ( Bet 365, Totesport, VC) which looks a shade over priced ( only 16/1 at Stan James).
  11. Good choice.....for an insomniac
  12. Early thoughts for Saturday : Newmarket: 3.40 Sole Power ew : Promising at 2 yrs, placed in listed event at the Curragh and sales race at York before landing short odds in Dundalk maiden. Progressive looking horse and may well be more to come from this Edward Lynam trained horse, a trainer who knows what's needed at this level. Amour Propre is the likely favourite and looks the one to beat but at 16/1 the selections rates as excellent ew value IMO. Goodwood 2.50 Ocean Blaze : Having looked at this race more closely I'm coming down in favour of Ocean Blaze. Should have progressed from 2 previous starts this season and all her wins have come over 5f on turf. Absa Luta and Osiris Way are obvious dangers but I'm going to opt for Ocean Blaze at around 3/1. 3.25: Kerry's Requiem: Having opted for this Micky Channon trained filly yesterday I'm going to stick with her. Has been stated to be "ungenuine", has finished 2nd on both starts this term but I'm not convinced she is ungenuine and I think she may well prevail today albeit in what is a wide open race.
  13. Yes, but they can easily afford it, they made 100's of thousands on Commission on the Barca/Inter game alone !!
  14. Fear not, it will.
  15. "Blue is the Colour.... ", an old FA Cup song of Chelsea only football seems not to be their game but cheating on wives and girlfriends, oh and England team mates too. As Ribery should not play for France neither should Terry be included for England though more for the impact it had on Wayne Bridge than the infidelity itself. So cheating is as I think most of us know is rife anyway, if you happen to wear blue shirts it seems compulsory
  16. Yes, just to rub it in !
  17. Aren't City and Spurs playing each other at Maine Road some time ? Ah, Spuds : 01 Sat Home Bolton Barclays Premier League 15:00 05 Wed Away Man City Barclays Premier League 20:00 09 Sun Away Burnley Barclays Premier League 16:00 Man City 01 May 2010 15:00 H Aston Villa 05 May 2010 20:00 H Tottenham Hotspur 09 May 2010 16:00 A West Ham United

  19. As short as that, I am really surprised.
  20. Just watching the evening replays, I got my NAP Double The Trouble at 4/1 and Storymaker at 11/2 This is unheard of !!
  21. The City bet WILL come in, if you are worried can you not back Spuds to finish 4th and hedge your bets or is that "too safe" ! You have one half of the double already so you could guarantee a nice profit either way by doing that. Liverpool have little or no chance of 4th.
  22. Blimey, how many bets do you have each day ? Do you clean ANY windows !?
