  1. http://www.postpals.co.uk/ A very good cause if ever I saw one and all it takes is a few minutes.
  2. http://horse-racing.ie/free/Curraghoaks_2010.pdf Nice free review of the Curragh Oaks meeting, mainly focusing on Sunday's racing.
  3. I could have told you it was useless !!
  4. Still not got the hang even of real smileys then:rolleyes: Just asked on challenge thread and blog which service you trialled ! Chris
  5. I replied though just curious to know which service it is ? Unlikely I have not heard of it, in fact would almost be a miracle given I know 99.9% of the tipping services out there !! Just one guess: MB Racing ? Chris
  6. I swear Frankie only makes certain selections so I'll have reason to mock him:rolleyes: Newmarket 2.30With just Gallic Star and Cill Rialaig in any sort of form this looks a tricky contest, but I am going to ignore them and go with Snoqualmie Girl, she has contested some good races this year, David Elsworth is in great from and hopefully Snoqualmie Girl, who has course and distance form here can return to form like Snoqualmie Boy did earlier this week. Possibly the most speculative reason for backing a horse in the history of this thread ! MR 4.10 sir Frank Probably Sir Frank along with Russian George are the only two that can realistically win this. However, at around 13/8 I'm not sure why anyone would back him to be honest. Lingfield 6.50 Super Frank Fair to say Super Frank could win this but then so could just about all the 15 horses that still remain. Possibly the most difficult race to pick a winner from of the whole day/evening ! Unfortunately some sense has prevailed with the tipping of Shernando though fair to say though it's one of my tips it's now definitely NOT going to be a tipping challenge bet. As for not backing MC horses then Mick surely knows more about racing than the whole of this forum put together so when he praises a horse highly before it has even run then you really should listen especially when it's a 33/1 shot which now has going to suit. The horse ? Newb 3.20 Golden Shine - Record to date 3152. Fair to say I'd far rather back her at that price and she finishes last than not back her and she wins ! Chris( still laughing !)
  7. As far as I know he is. Still under contract I assume.
  8. Maybe we'll sign a RW but if not Oxlade-Chamberlain is plenty good enough to fill in there and we need to develop him/Martin. CM would be my main priority and even if we only signed one more player I'd settle for that if it's a quality CM. That said ideally I'd like one more striker though again with emphasis on quality.
  9. Agree with most but how can you say never again in respect of Hargreaves who was excellent when he did play and Bridge who didn't go only because of the brainless Terry ( who bizarrely is in your team and ahead of Ferdinand) ??
  10. Definitely a case of Ferguson playing him too often and even when not fit, essentially he needs a break not a kick up the backside.
  11. Welcome ! Based on that and Frankie's selection's Rodrigo De Torres probably stands out at around 5/1. It's the H R A Cecil/T Queally combination ! Otherwise Doncaster Rovers is good value though I prefer Markab, if you're feeling really adventurous perhaps do a forecast these 2. If you feel tempted at around 4.45 to have a bet in the final race my tip would be to go home:D Enjoy, the weather might have turned for the better !
  12. Newbury, a few pointers : Markab (GB), 2:15 Newbury- his performance behind Equiano in the King's Stand rates the 3rd best 5fl effort of the season (3YO+), should be hard to beat if dropping down in grade to pick up an easier prize. Prince Siegfried (FR), 3:55 Newbury- looked well recently in close 2nd at Sandown to a winner in particularly good form, pulling well clear of the rest. Should have no trouble picking up a similar contest soon. Noted on Newmmarket Gallops Henry Cecil, Rodrigo De Torres, (4.30pm Newbury) - went clear of Lord Shanakill (7fl Al Bahathri, Weds) Leading trainer/jockey combinations with runner(s) at Newbury today: Newbury: H R A Cecil & T Queally 34%, R M Beckett & J Crowley 33%, S Bin Suroor & T Durcan 33%, M Jarvis & P Robinson 32%
  13. Well at least Glen Shiel obliged at 11./2 and Chilly Filly ran well. As with my tips not much more to say really !
  14. Sorry, I'm not serious at the best of times, 3am ? Never:D
  15. Still bleating then To be fair Hazelriggs might well have won otherwise, Chilly Filly was beaten but was the better horse though contrived not to win !
  16. As opposed to the freedom of people NOT to have to listen to stupid bigots spouting hatred ?
  17. Has to be "Jerusalem" for me.
  18. Methinks you don't know many National anthems too well !
  19. Never mind that, stop feeding the trolls:rolleyes:
  20. Yep, maybe that is where he'll play:o
  21. I don't, it was a nice late night Twitter surprise and a Friday fact for once:D
  22. Indeed that is true ! I even managed to engage a friend of mine on a chess site in a debate of the merits of BBC. He loves them, I'm ambivalent but for the sake of the debate decided I hated them lol We never did agree on anything other than we disagreed but also more importantly that it really was, like most things, a matter of personal choice/taste. So enjoy away, I'm about ( though as it is 2am via headphones!) to listen to The Ramones !
