Clasie is symptomatic of the Koeman years when we signed players before looking in the Academy. Reed is as good as him easily and would contribute more. He's small too but at least he gets stuck in and could play more than 60 minutes. Clasie doesn't create, he doesn't defend much. A bit of a nothing player. Not suited to English league and never will be. My dream is punting him to Everton for £10m.

Good effort. The best article was the one I wrote of course. In response to the poster who mentioned it being a bit too 'clean'.... It's my usual style to write expletive laden material but thought better of it for this fanzine. It wasn't the editor that told me to do this... if he had then I would have submitted a critique of Adam Lallana, Ronald Koeman and Calum Chambers which would have had about 50% libelous material in it.

Out of the players mentioned, Gotsmanov had one great game at Old Trafford that I remember going to and Yoann Folly had a couple of good games but he stopped getting picked and I think he just lost motivation. Bleidelis showed flashes of potential. Alan Bennett in the 4-1 home defeat ont he opening day against Palace was beyond bad. He did have a couple of good games later on. Anyone remember Paul MacDonald in the 90's - Scottish left winger, played against the Skates in the 3-0 FA Cup win at The Dell.

Vierinha was pretty poor at right back in the opening games, as was Carvalho who looks about 45. I was surprised Jose got picked ahead of Alves but he's done well so far. Cedric of course had a high profile error for the Poland goal but after that he did well so should keep his place. Looking forward to it - hope they win.
