Out of players I've seen (post 1975) it has to be Hurlock. Insanely hard. I remember a Hurlock v Steve McMahon incident in the first minute of one game and Terry absolutely binned him. Hard man Steve hung around at right back for the rest of the game, keeping well out of the way.

He obviously has some ability, hence he played for Spain. It's his application I have a problem with.

Definitely keep him and offer a one year extension triggered by appearances in 1st team. Very good player.

Brilliant idea. Go for it. the club will be keen because they're all about expanding the knowledge of the club globally. The more awareness there is of pockets of SFC fans globally, the better.

Ox all day long. Sends a message that the grass isn't always greener and that's good for us. More versatile as can play centrally and we'd keep him fitter. Depay will be on over £100k a week so no chance Townsend is the most likely of the three. He has the raw materials to work with - not perfect but then who is?

It's gonna be his take on things which you would expect. I'm sure Terry Paine's verdict would differ. Fact is that it's a book by a very important manager for us. He was in charge for my first 10 years as a Saints fan so that's good enough for me.

On a slightly different note. It's annoying now and limiting that we have to burn a substitution on Clasie, in every single game.

As my kid is now 11, I'm gonna be paying £100 more this year. Kind of hoped that a reduction in the adult price would cover this. Disappointed overall to be honest, given that the TV deal kicks in.

It was easier int he early days when I didn't know if anyone read it.... now there are expectations... Sorry.... bit slow I realise It's much easier writing about games like this, rather than a 0-0... Nah, I chose to coach the kids as soon as game was switched. My son would rather play than watch which is good and besides, it's about all 14 of them... If I was a player? Not for 15 years....
