  2. still no sign of the 4 wembley tickets ordered on the first day of season ticket sales.even though the guy up my road ordered his tickets last week had his delivered on monday:confused: i wonder how they are allocating the tickets.
  3. i agree the same thing happened in the 80,s under the torys which lead to boom and bust instead of governments giving us sound money.
  4. i believe john major (tory)brought in a escalator tax the idea was to annually increase fuel duty, initially at 3%, later rising to 5%,and the the rate of inflation which labour scrapped.. i agree with buctootim most people are better of unless you are on low incomes and a fixed pension but like all market economics you have winners and losers .
  5. i,ve given up with the mess going on with the ticket office recently, they need to get a grip on their customer service. talking to a couple of stewards yesterday reckons some of them need retraining.
  6. good shout it was just one of those days but i,m glad we still have a club and have always thought next season we will go up under pardaw, and like the side he is building.
  7. i agree we are miles better of but we still all moan because we want more, the only group who have been hit hard are pensioners on a fixed income and the low paid. i,ve still got a good living and glad about it.
  8. i think petrol will get more and more expensive .it won,t matter who is in government due to worldwide demand, china india, etc so i think it won,t belong before it hits £2.00 a litre.
  9. i always use asdas petrol and found their petrol runs great in my car,its only at tescos i ever got a jerky reaction in my car.
  10. not received any yet and i was there on the first day, they went on sale to season ticket holders.
  11. good point ,but i always thought oil was bought at least 6 months in advance just like the gas.
  12. i expect she did not dress like a typical :Dtory old maid in those days.
  13. i agree ,i find it hard to believe that southampton has higher rate of black crime compared to london and manchester,so i think they need to look at why the figures are so out of line.
  14. still no sign of wembley tickets yet:(
  15. he he:D mind you you got to have your fat belly and beer to go with your casual gear
  16. don,t let the truth get in the way of a good story:D
  17. you make me laugh :heart:you really are sad:rolleyes:
  18. we need Lord Mawhinney to stay and judge portsmouth in the championship before he retires.
  19. or is it that they are more likely to be jailed rather then cautioned or let of ?
  20. don.t think she looks attractive:D,i prefer fred
  21. stop and search did not work in the 80 within the black community, there were riots in some parts of the country in majority black areas (Brixton, Handsworth, Toxteth, Southall & Moss Side) in the early 1980s and "sus" was repealed in 1981[2]. Under PACE, the law states that the grounds for a standard "stop & search" are limited to a situation where the officers have reasonable grounds for suspicion. if the officers have reasonable grounds for suspicion i can not see any problems with that, but i don,t think southampton has a history of trouble with its coloured population so the figures need looking at.
  22. oh dear:rolleyes:
  23. i agree plus if their is a new stadium,it may be used more often for other purposes ,then than just for football matches and 4 pop concerts a year.
