  1. I think your understanding of what the 8 and 10 roles is not what they actually are. Neither BBD or AA are anywhere near being an 8 or 10 type player. BBD and AA looked so isolated when they received the ball on Saturday, with at least 2 or 3 Forest players between them and the goal, Smallbone nor Aribo were close enough, often enough, to make a bounce of or to run past drawing defenders away. I hope / believe Fernandes adds more dynamism to our central midfield, we could also see Flynniesta given a more central midfield role once Les settles in to the CDM role which I think he's here for.
  2. For me Ferguson has not backed up the excellent start he made to his senior career, a loan would make sense - probably for both parties but I'll wait to hear from the Falmer Farm Hand association.
  3. Fuck me 2 holding midfielders is sooo soooper bwave of you. Arma as an 8 is just plain stupid.
  4. I look forward to a thread being available for every player that we hope we wont regret signing / not signing.
  5. Fucking fence sitter, say what you really mean.
  6. Expect Forest to play a front 3, 2 quickies out wide, so expect us to set up as a back 4. Question we'll see answered is whether Russell sees Suga as being capable of defending against Hudson-Odoi, plenty to like about Suga going forward. Elanga on the right also poses a threat with pace, if Suga is not trusted yet then KWP goes RB and either Stephens or Taylor on the left. Barry Gibbs-White v Flynniesta could decide the game. Is it only Wednesday?? FFS hurry up Saturday!
  7. Exactly what I thought
  8. Turkish…?? Pffft. You’ve a long way to go take the record
  9. Haha all along I thought it was a reference to height, now we know it’s waistline
  10. That’s her reach around finger.
  11. Think he’d rather Bitcoin
  12. Yep, double figures should be Big Ben’s first target. Feels like an astute signing.
  13. I'd be surprised if we let Shea go on a permanent move. A season in Scotland, under Brendan, will do him the world of good.
  14. Sad to hear this, hope it’s a minor one and that he’s getting the care he needs. Legend.
  15. I find it refreshing that he'll give his honest opinion and not be swayed by previous allegiances. I also think he can go fuck himself.
  16. Boom. 🤯
  17. Shea started the game after Bristol City, he played 60 minutes in one of the best team performances of the season against the Baggies.
  18. Enlightening. Shea started 15 games in midfield for us, we lost 4 of those, 2 of which were Lester and Stoke - the end of season wobble. Not a bad record for someone so “untrusted”.
  19. Not trusted feels a bit harsh, it was his first full season, in the pivotal role in the way we play. Over exposing him would harm his development.
  20. Senor de la Fuente begs to differ with pretty much everything you say
  21. Not that I would expect them to take the job but to suggest neither Pep or Jurgen are capable of succeeding as England manager is pure madness.
  22. Think it’s safe not to judge Potter on a basket case club…. and as for his time at Chelsea…well Badum-tsch here all week
  23. Such an important signing for us. Get in.
  24. He "knows where the goal is". A game a week will suit him, brings loads of experience. If he plays 30 league games for us, you'd expect a goal return of 12, give or take a couple, we don't have that sort of player in the squad which we definitely need above resale value. If we get the established forward in, then take a punt on a young and hungry striker.
  25. Very fair price, could be the difference between staying up and not.
