Petition for some zebra crossings. My friend is a traffic engineer. He says that they put zebra crossings on a lot of roads purely for traffic control. People tend to observe these and are less begrudging of having to slow for them than for traffic lights, speed bumps, etc.

It's funny though as that Mosque is just off Albert Road, which is very multicultural and bohemian and doesn't seem to have any festering social problems (except for a few druggies and drunks down Waverley Road, but they keep they're too f*cked up to have any interests in politics and are also offset by the pleasant 4 star B&Bs on the opposite side of the road).

EDL reckon there will be 1,500 there. Based on the combination of their previous miscalculated estimates and their poor numeracy skills, what do we reckon the actual number attending will be? My guess is 57 (although the EDL will still report this as 1,500).
