I see this. I thought RK admitted after being put on the spot about the timing that Toby made those comments at the end of the season. A few months ago and a lot has changed since then.

People say we screwed up somehow... um, what if Toby just wanted to go to Spurs instead? What were we supposed to do, force him to sign for us? Seriously.

I agree with this. Djurucic has barely had a run in the team and came in second half of the season when things have been tougher for us. Some players take time to adapt to the Premiership too, but he's shown creativity. If the price is right.

On this occasion I think Fonte sounded much more like he was here to stay. Lallana appeared almost apologetic when he won.
