I agree, the Remy goal was completely avoidable even once he was on the wrong side. Fox could have pushed close to him as by the time the ball came down he had caught up with him. It would have at least put him off a bit. Instead Remy probably couldn't believe it when no challenge came in and he had all the time in the world to control and fire in.

Considering we were on a good run under Adkins it does look like the managerial change is to blame for recent results. It's the only thing that's changed.

That's 2 defeats and 1 draw with the teams around us at the bottom. Relegation form at present and don't look like scoring.

Ref clearly wants them to win here. Probably doesn't want Utd to race away and has been asked to make sure it's competitive at the end of the season to ensure a closer finish. It's not in the interests of the league or the press of United wrap it up early in the season. If you're into conspiracies
