Hi sue. Not been to Turin yet, I'm also a Romanista, Roma are my 2nd team. Been to about 7 or 8 games at the Olimpico now, would like to do a Roma away game but with all the away fan bans in Italy it's so hard to arrange trips over when i don't even know if Roma fans are to be allowed to the away game untill like a week before the game! The last 2 seasons they've been banned from going to Juve, a game at the San Siro is not out of the question tho!

Yeah just looked at flights from Cairo to Sharm, 1 way is £105 for 2 people which is pretty good.

Thanks S41NTS. I'm undecided now on where to go, was pretty much decided on Sharm but Hurghada sounds interesting too. I'd also love to see the pyramids & take in Cairo. Unfortuantley being a nipper (no not a student before SRS says!) I'm not on a budget where i could do all of it. Decisions to make!

Spain & Italy are bigger/longer countries tho. The away support in Italy used to be very good until the authorities brought in all the laws to try & stop all the violence but which also makes it a pain in the ar*e to go to a game as an away supporter. The bigger teams still have good away support tho, i went to Roma-Juve in March and juve had 5k fans in Rome which is pretty good considering Turin to Rome is a good 5/6 hour journey.

Only going there because the missus has been saying for ages she's always wanted to go to Egypt, if it was my choice we'd be going to the Algarve.

1 last thing, whats it like out there cost wise? I see its about £1 to 8 egyptian pounds, so what would i pay for a pint of beer out there for example?

I don't mind the burgers from the vans outside, its inside that the ones i can't stomach. I bought one last Sat tho purely because i was starving & pretty inebriated so it didn't really matter to me what i was buying!

Lying on a beach all day bores me so on that side Luxor seems the way to go but I also like a good night life, the ferry from Sharm to Luxor for a day trip seems like a good idea. Cheers for the info anyway guys.

Sharm was the place i was looking at going too. Does everyone actually get the sh!ts out there or is it just a myth?!?
