  1. Depends how many players are absent due to internationals, any more than 2 i think it is & league game is postponed.
  2. Saints first, i don't spend most of the hours every day thinking about England like i do Saints. However as has already been said, a world cup win would be difficult to beat with Saints.
  3. If he wants to stay then he'd be very good in this league, however if his heart isn't in it then can fook off to Swansea.
  4. Doubting it will be pay on the gate, best to check nearer the time i guess but I'd be surprised if it is.
  5. Anything above 10k would be great, anywhere between 12 & 15k would be just fantastic!
  6. If you listen to the commentary, he says "Walcott gets away from Kilgalon". Harding gave away the penalty for the 3rd tho.
  7. Now on our OS: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1728922,00.html
  8. & 3) it's in the middle of the school holidays. I'd expect us to take 2k up there at the very least.
  9. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1729123,00.html
  10. According to footballgroundguide.co.uk another 2,100 extra seats are available behind the goal so we could take as many as 3k there.
  11. Huddersfield: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~1728092,00.html Swindon: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~1727597,00.html Already got my Swindon ones, won't be doing Huddersfield tho.
  12. Probably been mentioned but Zak Whitbread from Millwall is available? Would be good at CB alongside Thomas, Perry & somebody else as back up & then offload Lancashire. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/millwall/8151875.stm
  13. Train & tickets now all sorted, getting into Swindon just after 3. Train back via Reading & Basingstoke gets into Southampton Central at 01.15. First away outing of the season for me, looking forward to it!
  14. The rumour about Max Gradel on 606 is probably BS but he'd be a great signing, just what we need for right wing. If we could get him then we could line up something like this: ---------------------------------Davis (Poke)------------------------- James (Murty)----Thomas (Lancashire)----Whitbread (Perry)---Harding (Mills) Gradel (Thomson)---Lallana (Schneiderlin)---Gillett (Wotton)---Holmes (?) --------------------Rasiak (Paterson)-------Saganowski (John)--------- So sign Gradel & we'd still need imo a left winger to compete with Holmes & a center back, if we can get rid of Lancashire then we can get 2 CB's in. Also if Saga goes then another ST. I see Zak Whitbread from Millwall is available, he'd be a very good signing at CB.
  15. Always here first, then the echo/OS.
  16. Don't know too much about the Charlton pair but the later 3 would be great, especially Hendrie & Gradel.
  17. First signing to be announced this afternoon: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4503589.Saints_on_the_verge_of_first_Pardew_signing/ So the squad looks like this with Harding signing: GK: Davis, Bialkowski, Forecast, Poke D: Murty (trial), James, Thomas, Perry, Lancashire, Harding, Mills, Saville, Molyneux, Reeves M: Wotton, Holmes, Schneiderlin, Gillett, Lallana, Thomson, Boyle, Gobern, Pulis, McNish S: Saganowski, Rasiak, White, Paterson, John?
  18. Some info on him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Harding http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10272~21811,00.html
  19. About time too, anybody entering the stadium to watch a game should pay for their ticket, whoever they are IMO.
  20. Any link to where we can hear this? Cheers.
  21. Tickets on general sale next Monday i think.
  22. FAO Bungle & others. Just emailed David Luker asking that if i were to buy tickets for the side then when behind the goal tickets went on sale would i be able to get the side tickets refunded & buy tickets for behind the goal, had this reply:
  23. Might wait actually, I'm sure we'll sell 1087 tickets quite quickly, especially considering its still during the school holidays too. I remember we took 1800 to Coventry on a Tuesday night in the april school hols during the play off season in the CCC so i'd imagine we'd take more than that to Swindon since it's not that far to go either.
  24. +1. Having said that, i read on the footballground site that they don't serve beer in the stand behind the goal & only on the side bit.
