Think me and 2 others are going to hire a car, drive up there, stay the night & then back the following day. May look into flying from Bristol now though, its £70 return from Southampton to Newcastle last time i looked. Train to Bristol can work out about £6 with a rail card. Who you flying from Bristol with?

Bent should be no where near the squad, he is gash IMO. Swap Defoe for Bent & the squad you've posted above looks very good.

I always thought Ifil did a good job for us, was dissapointed that we never signed him permantly. I'd certainly be in favour of signing him now, with him & Murty and also Lloyd James we'd be well covered at right back.

Been saying for weeks now he'd have been a good signing on a free, good cover for this league.
