That's interesting. If you use the Bank of England inflation calculator £60.00 in 1973 would be £665.00 in 2017. £60.00 seems quite a lot in 1973?

I'm sorry butI failed my driving test three times before passing..and i've not had an accident in 15 years since. Sometimes it's better to fail these things a few times. Let's give the bloke a break, i'm sure he's a good lad.

I've noticed loads of women sportsmen are openly 'Gay' and it never seems to cause any issues. Why the difference with men?

Ha Ha! You Nutter!

Turning Japanese. The Vapours

He did get the call!

Thing is the guy actually wants to leave..so surely it would **** him off more if we chanted, "We want you to stay'
-
If they get a full day's play tomorrow, I reckon Lancs & Hants should go for a result. Both need to win. Lancs score another 60 & declare, leaving us 285 in 90 overs. Don't let me down chaps.

Waaay! That's more like it! Thought i'd logged onto the wrong forum for a minute!

Wow, I pretty much given up with this place years ago...but this is actually quite a sensible post...i'm almost on shock.

Interesting Crane took 3 wickets. Considering England have got West Indies next who are crap, so England won't be scared to experiment? Will he get the call?
-
Like tho look of the balance of the bowling line up today. Pace, Seam and two spinners, looks good!
-
Yeah you're probably right.
-
Yeah he did, hence why I reckon it's all kicked off after the match.
-
Dawson & Afridi left out, so there's probably been some tear-up behind the scenes. Anyway I'm confident we are going to tear Middles a new one. Lets do this!

What an absolute shambles this team is becoming. Wipe the slate start again. It's just a mess of Kolpacks, ageing has beens and young players who can't get a regular run. Tripe.
-
Team feels a bit of a mess at the moment. 5 blokes over 35 years old. Hampshire were successful in 20/20 when they had a young team, minimal changes with a clear game plan/strategy. Now it just seems a bit of a shambles.

I don't deny that....but surely you wouldn't deny it's full of Liverpool fanboys.
-
Yeah it seems weird that it seems to have died down. They even did a review of what players Liverpool need this morning & VVD didn't get one mention! The guys on strike and angling for a move to liverpool..and not one mention? It seems really suspicious to me.
-
Something i've noticed is that when Liverpool first got in trouble two weeks ago, everytime I turned on TalkSport the narrative was 'Saint's should let him go" "Who do Saint's think they are?" but now VVD has gone strike and you would think TalkSport would have a proper story to talk about, it seems to have gone a bit quiet. Is it possible that someone at Liverpool has got hold of TalkSport and said,'Don't stir this up again, we could probably get this deal done, and we don't want to **** Saints off again'

The trouble is that it would mean open season for Lawyers, as I'm sure most clubs can cite a case where one of their players were 'tapped' up at some point. If we were successful, then the amount of historic cases would go through the roof! If you think ticket prices are high now, wait until a few club have had to pay a few million in solicitors costs!
-
Absolutely spot on.
-
I don't think there's a rule to say he can't sign for liverpool. They just apologised and withdrew their interest, but that's not to say they will not sign him if Saint's choose to sell. The only rule would be if The FA said Liverpool were not allowed to sign anyone for a period of time due to breaching rules. I reckon eventually he's going to end up a Liverpool...actually I just want him to go. We all go on about loyalty on here...my gut feeling is VVD hasn't shown a lot of that (just a gut feeling)

Mate, my life's a big enough mess as it is, without trying to sort out imaginary bizarre love triangles involving Virgil, Klopp and myself.
-
Yeah but if my pretty wife has made it clear she's be seeing my mate behind my back, and wants to shack up with him (Which using you're analogy Virgil has done) then yes I wouldn't probably dump her. Especially if my scouse mate is going to give me 65 million so I can spunk it in Vegas on a **** fest!.
