Well I think that we can conclude that is the end of Mauricio's career at Saints. Weird. Thought they would give him until the transfer window. Oh well.
-
I'm not the only one to mention his name but Bostino Gruntz would be my pick. High pressing style and allegedly has little tolerance for overpaid prima donnas.
-
Umm..I'm not willing to give my exact reasons, but if I had to choose it would be a broken left arm. As I said the reasons for this choice are not important.
-
Yep I imagine someone who is similar to two of England's top five ever openers might help!. If only Saints could find a Shearer/Greaves sort of bloke.

Cheeky bid for Ben Stokes?

Absolutely called this spot on. Well done me. I've got this weeks lottery numbers if you need them.
-
It's up for grabs now!

For the second time this week, I've got this badly wrong.

First day wash out. Simplified task, just 8 points required. Rack up a few bonus points, here comes the rain, Draw, thank you. Simples.

Does anyone seriously think that Sky or the club want an intimidating atmosphere? They want a safe fun family enviroment so their 'product' remains untainted. Why would any of our owners want an intimidating atmosphere,,it's not like they have a background of terrace culture. There's a reason why clackers get handed out, it's to encourage a family/tourist environment. This forum probably represents a tiny percentage of our fan base. Most fans just see match day as another leisure activity they can put on Facebook/instagram, it's like going paint balling or go-carting.
-
I've got news for everyone. The atmosphere is sterile...and every home game so far has pretty much sold out. This is what the club want. Non intimidating atmosphere for day trippers.

Got this wrong to be honest. This is what I will say..Somerset have to rwin , therefore they will have to produce a results wicket making it a certainty they won't pick up any/many batting points. We're almost over the line.
-
Were not going to lose this believe me.

Looking good 5 wickets down only 65 ahead. Clean them up tomorrow. Knock the runs off, simples!

I remember when we had Alan Mullally guest commentating. He was being genuinely offensive to the Durham commentator bragging that his record collection cost more than a house in Durham, and how everyone up north is broke. (it may look funny written down, but it was atrocious to listen to even as a Hampshire fan) I complained and he's never been back on since. I'd like to feel I had a small part to play!

Correct. I agree. I don't think anyone would argue with this. We get two years of having a great player ,and then we can sell them after two years for a big profit. Everyones a winner.
-
Yes I agree! That was the point I was making. Thanks for clarifying my original point.

Phil Neville just advised that 'Big clubs will already be looking at him'. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

That's pretty cool I guess. John Peel was possibly the most innovative figure in British Broadcasting history. Willing to take musical risks irrespective of market forces. A man arguably responsible for exposing to the nation 99% of any decent bands or musical movements that charted between 1976- 2005. If Les becomes the John Peel of Football then I for one will not have a clue what it all means. But it certainly makes me like Les more.

Pull must be laughing his cock-off. Oh the players didn't like him! What the same players that get the first plane out of here if they have a decent season? Actually don't mind if we go down just to **** off the bell ends on here! I can't lose!

James Vince tactical masterclass.

That's out of order!...it's 69 by the way.

If Cockwombles could fly, this forum would be an airport!

To be honest mate it's a lot to ask anyone to be firm for six months. Could you do it? I couldn't...but I am in my forties.
