  2. Cork to Everton.............. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/blues-rumour-mill-latest-everton-7015489
  3. They are still comfortably above us
  4. What effect does this have on Saints I wonder? Will they go for Mopo? Will this end there interest in Guly?
  5. Confirmed!! hes gone
  6. Anyone got a table since November 23rd? Thats when our season changed - 6/7 wins in the last 24/25
  7. We kept Coutinho very quiet too
  8. Have we really needed to drop as low as Mick McCarthy to find a manager with a lower points per game ratio? To find a perm manager with a lower career win % than Mopo try Paul Dickov and erm James Beattie
  9. 3 wins in the last 10.... We wont catch Man United now
  10. Tricky one.... I want Everton to finish top 4, just because of the outstanding job Martinez has done this season. But i also desperately want us to match / better our 2000/01 and 2002/03 points total. Beat them 3-0. Arsenal also lose and its win/win
  11. Hes a poor journalist at a poor excuse for a news outlet, oh hang on this is positive on Saints? Hes a good journo and its a bloody good article. Oh hang on... Hes anti Saints, no not this time, yes he is, no, yes, no, yes, lying, good, useless, great, no, yes Ahhhhhhhhhhhh
  12. I dont rely on websites for facts/stats they all have different and out of date info. Im more old school.... Simply take the number of games a manager has managed and combine the total wins to calculate a percentage. Simples and far more reliable Wiki for all its faults is the closest of all the sites, but like i say im old skool and do my own maths. If you are unsure on how to calculate a % just drop me a PM. happy to help out mate
  13. Mopo is replaceable - easily imho. We could give Javier Aguirre a go? He took over from Mopo after he was sacked by Espanyol. Espanyol were rock bottom and heading out of the league. Javier Aguirre turned them around and got them out of trouble. This season Espanyol are 9th/10th and playing some really attractive football. He's done this despite losing a number of star players, so could be ideal if everyone leaves with Mopo.
  14. Have you ever witnessed a better atmosphere? You should try an old firm game when they return..... WOW
  15. Career win % WGS = 44.3% Hoddle = 39% Jones = 40.5% Mopo = 33%
  16. We might win some more games under Burley? His win % as a manager (& at Saints) is/was loads better than Mopo's
  17. Dont think anyone is "convinced" the word potential is used a fair bit though
  18. Problem is Oswaldo cost us £13-14m, we gave him a huge signing on fee and were paying him £65k per week. You cant really make an example of someone, when youre paying them £3m+ per year It was sensible to loan him out, naive to think wed seen the last of him.
  19. jury still out
  20. Just turned 21 Scored 8 in 11 games on loan at Sheff Weds Only player to score at Chelsea and Man C this season Agree with the OP. he is a potential star of the future, doubt many of those writing him off have seen him play
  21. Oxo tends to play when fit, so does Walcott + Bale, Shearer, Bridge etc all did better by moving on. All earned a shed load more too Le Tiss is a legend for sticking with us, but finished his career with no medals - our mid table finishes and zero appetite for the cups maybe a bigger obstacle than most would like to think.
  22. I can go short, medium or long..... Makes little difference. Last 10 games: won just 3 = 30% Last 24 league games: won just 7 = 29% Career % = 33% Doesnt matter which way you cut it, his win ratio is very poor
  23. No i decided to trust the word of Ramirez over some random that claimed to have seen Ramirez's pay slips
  24. Mopo has managed for 219 games, won just 74 = 33.7% dibden purlieu saint was always caught on a few lies........ Coincidence?
  25. We dont win enough games full stop.
