  1. should be enough for the mighty Luton.
  2. nobody - wont look to clever on Nick 'last 20 fixtures thread' though.
  3. That's low! so low low low low
  4. If we had stuck and worked with the team AP inherited and were still 10 points from the PO then id say fair play - good work. We didnt though, we spent BIG (for L1) signing players like Harding, Jaidi, Hammond, Lambert, Connolly, Trottman (on loan), Waigo (on loan), Murty ect ect Because of this + the coaching staff we have, I expected better! I agree that maybe I am too ambitious and perhaps had too much faith in AP & team? Expect little - get little....when will I learn!?
  5. These are questions for AP - the midfield we have should be good enough
  6. Football knowledge - HTH
  7. I do, do a bit of stand-up!
  8. For every reason/excuse for doing badly I could come up with 2 reasons why we should be doing better. The 'almost' going under excuse was/is wafer thin and moot in terms of defence for a reletively poor start/season.
  9. Anymore good news?
  10. Not many better midfields in L1!
  11. I think they have a book of excuses - sadly the book is very small Yes Huddersfield is now a must win - lose and we could be 13 points off the last PO.
  12. No razor blades here - I just expected more. Started the season 10 points off the playoffs - 24 games and big money spent later and we are still 10 points behind! Started the season 10 points off top spot - 24 games and big money spent later and we are now 28 points behind!
  13. No because that point is moot
  14. Basically translates to "We should have won against Leeds and Colchester" and he wants AP out! Seemed a bit knee jerk to me!
  15. Some are good enough for the CCC - Connolly, Lambert, Harding, Davis, Bart, Jaidi, Waigo, Lallana, Hammond and even Spiderman are good enough imho How many L1 sides have 10+ players good enough for the league above?
  16. Without the -10 we would be squeezing into the playoffs by virtue of goal difference - still a poor return considering the team/squad we have. Perhaps I expect too much, or you've become content with 2nd best?
  17. Antonio and Papa? You wont find many teams with pace throughout
  18. Since when did Colchester become 'bigger' I agree they are better, not bigger
  19. for L1! All this talk about signing new players & resting players to help our promotion push...... Point is we should already have enough. We have some very good players (for L1) currently playing average - will signing other good players help? On paper we have one of the best teams in L1 - no question. GKs: Bart & Davis (more than good enough for L1) DEF: James, Mills, Harding, Trottman, Murty, Jaidi, Perry & Thomas (Should be good enough for L1) MID: Hammond, Lallana, Schneiderlin, Wotton, Holmes, Gobern, Antonio (more than good enough for L1) Att: Connolly, Lambert, Papa Waigo, Saga & Patterson (more than good enough for L1)
  20. Yes - lost 2 of the last 3 and performaces have sounded lethargic
  21. I've said elsewhere that the team/squad we already have should be good enough - will signing other good players help?
  22. A defence of James/Murty Jaidi/Perry Trottman/Thomas Harding Should be more than good enough for L1
  23. Our team should be good enough! Why dont we spend time fixing what we have rather than signing players?
  24. Not true - who in our side has regularly played above our expections this season? Llanna, Harding (maybe)? He's not go the defence sorted and Colchester showed today (all season) that average players can be very good - we have good players, playing average.
  25. doesnt matter what side you have out - if AP cant get players playing to potential then we will go nowhere
