Boothroyd is doing wonders at Colchester - joined when the club could have gone in decline - They lost some best players (+captain) and manager in a few days, lots of discontent amongst fans (re ambition of club) ect ect but Boothroyd came in steadied the ship and now has every player playing above there potential. He would be ahead of AP for manager of the year if poll was done now.

Charlton are having a great season all things considered! not a better squad than us but performed better all season

We are the Real Madrid of L1! Cortese said as much in the interview on Solent. We have been saying this for a while (think you even started a superb, 5 star rated thread on the subject) its good however to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.

We will possibly have a blip - so will everyone. Our form last 10/15 games is superb, I see no reason why we would started dropping points in volume. 7 points is nothing - we could be 4 points behind in a few days.

In the 1st half of the season we lost 5 and drew 8. We will not lose or draw as many in the 2nd half. If we do then we will have to dig deep for excuses!

Top 6 should consist of Leeds, Charlton, Norwich, Saints + 2 from Colchester, Huddersfield, MKD's, Millwall, Swindon, BR (My money would be on Huddersfield and Colchester) We have a very strong squad and will improve again in Jan window - missing out on the top 6 will be a MASSIVE failure.

1) Yes of course. 2) Yes L1 is very poor and we have a decent CCC team right now. 3) Finish below 6th and season is a failure.
