If Liebherr didnt want to spend loads of cash then why does he keep telling us all how much he has? He said when he started that he was a Billionaire and that he was going to spend millions, so why hasnt he?

I agree we lost some higher profile players - but 'best' is not a word I use to describe the likes of McGoaldrick, BWP, Euell ect. Infact for each player out we have a better player in, in return.

Leeds will win the league this year - im sure of that. They have a decent team and have added value at every oppurtunity. Some very astute signings and real intent shown. Saints on the other hand seem lucklusture with our transfer targets - Feeney was a target but we missed out to Sheff Weds, likewise Max Gradel was on APs wanted list but again our leisurely pace lost him to Leeds.

Leeds made the playoffs after starting on -15 You cant compare this season with the last 6 as we were not in L1. The one season we did spend money similar to our spend this (comparatively) we made the playoff and missed out only on PK's.

Saints are still in the bottom 4 after 20 games! Took Leeds just 10 games to rise out the season they started on -15. I therefore cant agree that AP has "engineered a huge improvement" L1 is complete guff and we have bought some of the best players availible - on that basis the season summary so far probably reads "must do better"

CanadaSaint - any joy from the complaint?

Most teams outside the top 10 in the prem rely heavily on the 1st team staying fit and in form. Teams like United and Chelsea will have strengh and quality in depth but not many sides have that. L1 sides are lucky if they have a decent 11 - a strong back-up would be a real luxory in this awful league. I think I could get in most sides and I don't play anymore.
