Aren't we supposed to appoint the new manager before the World Cup?

Excellent

The perfect summary - we lack that killer instinct, we need a top draw striker next season. Thought we played well and Liverpool hit us on the break.
-
My point is that Dani Osvaldo was our Premier signing and for all the reasons he has gone and we have a gap in our Striking options. So flip the scenario, say we had a Dani Osvaldo type striker on the bench do you thing we would have changed todays game?
-
Does any one agree with my thinking that Dani Osvaldo has had the biggest impact on our present form and the seasons ambitions? He was the player to push us on for the second half of the season and to bring another dimension to the striker options. My loyalty is with Richie, he has been awesome on this journey but i am starting to see his limitations and the options on the bench are not strong enough to change a game. Gaston has stepped up but he really supplements Adam and i think we lack that credible striker that Dani Osvaldo was. Who could have predicted Dani Osvaldo negative impact on the team off the field and his move out when we needed him most.

You make a fair comment but that but it doesn't represent all the play

MOM Stoke defence - that was a great defensive display - not sure many teams today could have unlocked Stoke

Get Cork on

we were AWESOME!

Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS

I'm not suggesting Sunderland played long ball, i am saying they had more tempo on the break and with some bad defending from Shaw they made the most of there opportunities. I would like to see a direct striker with pace, a replacement for Puncheon who offered this. -

I would like us to be able to up the tempo more often when we attack. When Sunderland broke you knew they were gonna get a shot on goal where is was a case of can we walk it in. Woefull defending as well. Lucky draw in the end, 3 points lost -
I work from home and i have never heard this rumor. My wife is a mobile hairdresser and she did have a sniff of a rumour though..

Absolutely shocking game - lost count off all the bad passes. The first half we didn't look like we had any teeth in attack. Second half Gaston changed the game. WBA we crap and we hung on - tells you enough. Lets hope this was a pre Xmas blip in performance -
Nothing showing on this link, so its the Saints Player for me

Good appraisal
-
No problem being beaten by a better side but we look tired and in desperate need of a rotation in the Midfield - we need a bigger squad.
-
I think Cork was taken off as it looked like he was working towards a RED
-
Ref was ****e - Gaston was great - we played well as a unit - sloppy second goal really - disappointing but thats the way it rolls
-
Could have been embarrassing, SPURS were ones step ahead of us we didn't look the same side.

I was a guest at the Newcastle game, sat amongst the Geordies. GAZZANIGA's celebration was awesome...you guys in the Saints tier must have loved that? Thought it was great game, day out.
-
i never thought at any moment during the game we would lose, we are GOOD!
-
looked to be a rigged interview - very dull and i love Saints orientated

Any tickets available still?
