Problem with Kevin Phillips when he was a youngster at the Dell....He was not a great Right Back and he had a dodgy knee for some reason...plus there were two very good young right backs who always overshadowed him..Dodd and Kenna...Kevin did not go to striker after returning home and playing striker for his local club in an emergency..he went on to score many goals in non league and was picked up again for a second bite of the cherry. No one had spotted his potential as a striker in his earlier years. This is a similar story to Malcolm McDonald who was a full back until being switched in an emergency to Centre Forward.....It happens sometimes... I have suggested to Saints tyhat they should play Thomas as a Centre Forward.......Maybe not.

Not forgetting the Tesco club card points for his very expensive agent and the expensive agent Phil The Whale.

You need some spare players and cones to help the first team train/practice....Having seen Anthony play and taking into account his high wages and sick bay record....it would seem more sensible to off load Anthony and purchase a couple of extra cones.....at least they would always turn up and be available for practice......

Chris Lines.......Not sure but he is a regular in first team.....6'2" tall 24/25 with a turn of pace.....Is in Saints sights...not sure....Rovers lost to Milwall on 28th 2-0....Morrison who I have seen play for Stevenage before is a useful goalscorer for Milwall. Mind you I had seen Liptak play for Stevenage. before and he was useless....Back in Hungary thank goodness Anyway I must go..keep up the support for Saints..your club needs you Ben...Happy New Year.

Ed Asafu-Adjaye.....Right full back or centre back...played quite well today against Saints at RB....Has speed and good in the air...21/22 years of age..... Not played a lot of football in last 3/4 weeks.....weather and injury...will be snapped up Not sure about Craddock today...
