  1. Help us back up or fuck off, Che. Thank you.
  2. I guess if you have Stewart and Che/his replacement, Mara is 3rd choice and even then Armstrong may be preferred up top to him. Mara needs to go somewhere he can play regularly to develop. I’d be happy with a loan to see how he does. Doesn’t seem like anyone is willing to buy atm.
  3. We do seem very keen to sell/offload Mara
  4. So you have to copy the link from Twitter in a browser? Copying the link from the x app doesn’t work.

    Che Adams

He’s never going to sign a deal before this window closes. He’s having his cake and eating it, he has all the power. Irony is we spent all last summer trying to sell him, so can’t really expect loyalty. We just have to hope a better offer doesn’t materialise for him and so he stays and delivers for us.
  6. So just over 36 hours to go. Che still an option for Bournemouth and Wolves. I’m not feeling confident that he stays, sadly.
  7. Triple ditto 🙂
  8. I like this a lot, hope it happens. England u21 captain, experience of winning this league, big, strong and great on the ball. Perfect signing for us at CB. We were disappointed we weren’t in for Doyle who went to Leicester on loan. Am I right in thinking THB is the better player?
  9. Seems Palace are pushing for Iheanacho, could this mean Che stays now or are Bournemouth still a threat to come in late?
  10. Posted on the transfer thread but he’s been seen in the video released of training this morning.
  11. Edozie had him on toast, but Smith did hit our bar and make a couple of decent crosses for them, which they fortunately wasted.
  12. Not sure I want to see Sulemana put a Saints shirt on again, he can f-off as far as I’m concerned.
  13. For Stewart, the Achilles tendon injury is the one to worry about. A couple of hamstring injuries 3 years apart less so. Hopefully it’s not changed him and he’s fit to play in a month.
  14. Genuine confidence or sarcasm?
  15. https://x.com/southamptonfc/status/1696832628907819220?s=46&t=7raSKCMt6LV8RJ1C2d39WQ I spot a KWP in todays training video from Saints OS, for those that thought his absence from yesterday’s gallery was a hint of him being already gone.
  16. Keeping KWP would be a big surprise this window. Pretty sure we all expected at least one of him and Tino to leave, I would have bet on KWP being the one of the first to go, he’s a great player. 2 years left on his deal is usually the time to cash in on his best value. I hope he continues to go under the radar here, be huge for us this season and if we can go back up, maybe a chance to extend that contract too.
  17. Sounds like a chalobah is Bayern’s first choice. Maybe more likely ABK ends up at Dortmund with that loan and obligation. Think that’s a logical move for him, get a decent sell on fee included please
  18. Does Castagne to Fulham increase the likelihood of KWP staying? He may have been sitting it out for Leicester recently but a decent player to lose.
  19. It’s so important having Will and Flynn to make this system work best. The pair of them are passing % machines.
  20. Release clause for relegation I think. So if we go back up at the first time of asking (assuming he doesn’t move perm), does that clause end?
  21. Celebration needs work. What a hit though!
  22. Trying not to get ahead of myself here but i have to admit Ryan Fraser didn’t take long yesterday to convince me he’s going to be a great signing. I had my doubts about lack of game time, attitude, motivation at this level and big wages. Obviously we need to see him deliver for us on a regular basis but the early signs are that he actually improves the starting 11, rather than is a useful squad player. Very happy to have my concerns proven wrong, long may that continue. Holgate hasn’t kicked a ball yet but I’m trusting he might do the same.
  23. I’m still surprised he came here really, it is a fabulous signing at this level. 99% passing accuracy, straight off the toilet… that is very impressive!
  24. Reality of relegation hitting home when we are losing out on players to Sheffield United, who are reportedly in financial ruin. They are likely to go down this season but still are a PL shop window. Both McAtee and Archer were seemingly top targets for us. Another case of setting our targets too high perhaps?
  25. https://x.com/swansea_indy/status/1696061158594068947?s=46&t=7raSKCMt6LV8RJ1C2d39WQ Swans will reportedly only sell if we match their valuation, was that £12m? That option to extend his contract by a further year takes the pressure off a little but the player has reportedly told them he wants to come here.
