  1. Confirmed https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019-03-14/yan-valery-new-southampton-contract-announcement-2023 https://southamptonfc.com/news/2019-03-14/yan-valery-new-southampton-contract-interview-academy-2023
  2. Southampton ‘came close’ to signing player in January, and are a ‘prominent suitor’ for summer Source: http://sportwitness.co.uk/southampton-came-close-signing-player-january-prominent-suitor-summer/
  3. SSN reporting Valery signs a new contract.
  4. Chelsea have certainly made quite a lot from fringe players (which is part of their business model). Not sure what it total's up to though. Certainly nowhere near Coutinho levels. City have started to do it now as well. (Gunn / Diaz / Matondo etc).
  5. 100%. Chilwell / Shaw / Rose are already covering LB.
  6. Good chance for some extra minutes for some of the players around the first team.
  7. I'm probably more concerned about Bayern looking to replace their manager...
  8. Assuming we stay up, it's imperative Ralph H stays. Following that, I'm more than happy to let him decide what happens to Boufal. Unquestionable talent. Questionable attitude.
  9. Burnley will probably sign him - they love stockpiling England keepers.
  10. Mario is def back in training. Still no sign of Ings.
  11. You've let me down, LeG!
  12. No Saints in the England squad. (Jack Butland over Gunn?)
  13. Yeah, any future deals for these guys looks bleak. I think we'd let Clasie leave for a nominal fee, but whether Feyenoord could get anywhere close to what he's on here, would be questionable. Biggest problem is we still likely have large sums to pay on the Carrillo / Boufal / Hoedt deals.

  15. Crikey, when did this happen?
  16. Good for them. (That's until they start getting tapped up by Liverpool players).

  18. Interesting to note that Klarer is the youngest of the bunch. Imagine he will feature lots more for the U23's next season.
  19. 2-1 down at HT.
  20. I don't disagree, but I think Sam has played something like half a game for them this season. Should have played more IMO.
  21. Sam G probably won't play but it's very strange how he's barely had any kind of minutes this season at all. Slattery might have a chance of featuring.
  22. Massive game at Molineux tonight. 1st vs 2nd. Only 4 games left.
  23. Man City done OK.
