Interesting shout. What would he be worth in today's market though? A keeper in and around the England squad must be £20m by today's standards? Unless literally a loan to move his wages is what we'd be looking for?

Simon Peach & Radio Solent both saying expect it to be a permanent deal rather than loan w/ obligation. I suppose you can look at the obligation from both sides.
