I know. Nearest one I can think of was Roberts @ Celtic (wasn't that 18 months?) I like Baker, but I don't think we'll be in for him on loan. No point in signing a loan player unless they start matches. (unless it's a back-up keeper).

@GraemeBailey: Middlesbrough trying for Lewis Baker - on a long-term loan from Chelsea, they looked at him last season too. Needed after Ramirez departure

Just had a look: - Tom Cleverley (Everton) - Will Hughes (Derby County) - Daniel Bachmann (Stoke) - Kiko Femenia (Alaves) - Nathaniel Chalobah (Chelsea) - Richarlison (Fluminense) - Andre Gray (Burnley) They've gone more English than usual. Potentially some decent signings there - It'll be very interesting to see how Marco Silva does this season. -

GRAY FEES EXPLAINED Sky Sports News understands Brentford are owed 27.5 per cent of any fee in excess £9.75m that Burnley receive if Andre Gray is sold. We also understand Luton Town are entitled to 15 per cent of that in turn. It means if Watford sign Gray for £18m, Brentford stand to make £2.27m minus £340,500 Luton are eligible for. -

WATFORD CLOSE ON GRAY Watford are closing in on an £11.5m deal for Burnley striker Andre Gray, according to Sky sources. Sky Sports News understands the two Premier League clubs have agreed a fee for the 26-year-old. Personal terms are due to be discussed later today followed by a medical. -
Lol. Think I've answered my own question. I think it's him walking up the stairs with Lemina so guess he's representing him.
-
Eagle-eyed peeps on Twitter have spotted Damien Comolli in the Lemina video (52 secs in) Working on behalf of Lemina? Or is he doing some stuff with us now? Any ITK's?

Did you see him arguing with the other SPL pundit last season on BT Sport? It was hilarious

I can't help but be endlessly entertained by him. He's like a pantomime villain.

Must be just posturing? Haggling over £5m? -
Any idea if a loan or permanent? Always wanted him to do well. I was so excited when we signed him, but I always had concerned about how he'd fair physically in this league. Jordy leaving basically gurantees PEH more game time as he'll cover both Romeu & Lemina. This might even open up a space for another academy player if we get short of numbers or in cup matches.

1.3 years would be more realistic these days Quite excited by this signing. Fingers-crossed he turns out to be as good as I hope he'll be.

BAGGIES READY THIRD GIBSON BID West Brom are expected to return with a third bid for Middlesbrough captain Ben Gibson, according to Sky sources. The Baggies have failed with two bids for the 24-year-old centre-back, with the second offer totalling £20m. Assistant manager Gary Megson told Sky Sports News on Tuesday that the club could complete deals for five transfer targets before Saturday’s opening Premier League match at home to Bournemouth. -
