  1. Bit late to talk about transfers now, I know, but this fella was the chap Twente purchased to replace Tadic. @OptaJohan: 23 - Hakim Ziyech has been involved in 23 of @fctwente's last 24 Eredivisie goals. Superb. Would be interested in what our Dutch friends think of the lad.
  2. I remember that too. That's how I think of Gaston : Talented player who's happy getting a very good wage without a burning desire to prove himself. Doesn't rock the boat or moan. But just happy to tick along.
  3. Ultimately puts him as No.1 back-up when Kelv hangs up his gloves.
  4. You'd have thought letting him leave on a free to another club would be more beneficial than paying him a % of his wages to buy him out.
  5. Sad state of affairs when you can't give him away & we have to pay him to leave.

  9. Yeah, gutted for the lad. Really good player by all accounts. Hope he makes a full recovery. Gradel is out for 6 months as well, isn't he?
  10. Seems to be doing well for Villa. Fair play. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-boss-tim-sherwood-9986945
  11. Cheers for posting, MLG. So Isgrove is basically on there to fulfil the home-grown quota?
  12. I really like Pelle. Pivotal to the way we play. So unlucky at the weekend when that right-foot screamer didn't curl inside the post.
  13. Ultimately, it's all a load of waffle - But rather that than having him maintaining a negative stance.

  15. What's funnier than that is the respective scores that he gives to each team, re: their transfer business.

  17. DICKOV BUZZING WITH GOBERN Doncaster boss Paul Dickov is "buzzing" after bagging the loan signing of Oscar Gobern. Rovers swooped for the QPR midfielder before the deadline on Tuesday, bringing the 24-year-old in on a four-month loan just weeks after he signed for Rangers following his decision to leave Huddersfield. "I am buzzing with Oscar," admitted Dickov. "I was close to signing him in the summer - he played the last 12/13 games for Huddersfield last season in the Championship and was by far their best player."

  19. Sure this would've got mentioned yesterday, but video with Les Reed from SSN yesterday saying we've offered him a new 5 year deal. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9976036/reed-hopeful-on-wanyama?
  20. Agreed. The que will be somewhat bigger next summer though, I'm sure.
  21. Derby signed Bradley Johnson & Jacob Butterfield today so I wonder if they won't want Reed on loan now?
  22. Agree. I half imagined he'd go off to Italy or Turkey, cut-price. He's so frustrating because he's clearly got talent.
  23. John Percy ‏@John__Percy West Brom have rejected a THIRD bid from Spurs for Saido Berahino today #wba #coys. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/tottenham-hotspur/11837299/Tottenham-have-23million-bid-rejected-for-Saido-Berahino.html
  24. Chelsea have had two bids rejected for PSG defender Marquinhos today, according to Sky sources. It is our understanding that the Blues have offered between 35m-55m euros for the 21-year-old centre-back.
