  1. Swindon would probably take him back in a heartbeat at the moment.
  2. Adam Blackmore ‏@bigadamsport #saintsfc Jordy Clasie: "I think I'm at 90 per cent. Fans can expect more from me in the games that are coming now"
  3. http://www.gloucestershireecho.co.uk/Premier-League-Southampton-bid-Cheltenham-Town-s/story-28185844-detail/story.html?
  4. Long on the bench for Rep. Ireland tonight.
  5. Stoke have picked up recently. 4 clean sheets from their last 5 league games. Shawcross is back & Shaqiri starting to look impressive. Will be a tough game but one we can win. Hope we have less of a hangover from the International break than we did when we played Leicester though. Fingers-crossed Virgil's knee is OK.
  6. Ah, crap.
  7. Not sure how Delph gets a start either.
  8. I agree Adrian. If Man Utd want Mane, it's to improve what they already have, so why wouldn't he go for an absolute fortune? Especially when the new TV revenue kicks in. You touched on it with Martial (and I believe the total cost is after add-on's is £50m+) All of United's forwards cost an absolute fortune: - Rooney was £27m (over 10 years ago!) - Mata was £37m - Fellaini was £27m - Depay was £30m
  9. Where's he playing, Pilch? Sitting in central midfield?
  10. I don't think it's a coincidence that Mike Smalling has improved since the name change.
  11. http://www.onemk.co.uk/community/sport/cowshed-commentaries/articles/mk-dons-time-for-sam-gallagher%E2%80%99s-loan-to-end-101120150031.html? Maybe a move down a division would be beneficial?
  12. Let's not mess around. Ask for £30m + Depay.
  13. I'd agree with this. Fingers-crossed he keeps his head on like he did last summer when the stories start up in January. Could be worth a fortune next summer - Especially with the new TV ££'s kicking in.
  14. That's quality!
  15. This is neither here or there but speaking about their squad, I saw Antonio was linked with Derby -- I'd completely forgotten he'd signed for West Ham.
  16. They've been linked with a few already: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/transfernews/article-3310443/Manchester-United-eye-Riyad-Mahrez-Felipe-Anderson-Sadio-Mane-Louis-van-Gaal-keen-adding-winger-January.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  17. ^ I can almost smell the links in January already.
  18. Lingard looked good for United yesterday. Keeping Depay out the team. Ask for £30m plus Depay when United come back in for Mane
  19. Borini on for 2nd half.
  20. Defoe is destined to come on and score the winner.
  21. Is a midfield trio of Clasie/JWP/S.Davis too small or not? We shall see that question answered today.
  22. Sunderland AFC ‏@SunderlandAFC Sunderland XI v Southampton: Pantilimon, Jones, Kaboul ©, Coates, Yedlin, M’Vila, Gomez, Toivonen, Johnson, Watmore, Fletcher. Sunderland AFC ‏@SunderlandAFC Subs: Mannone, van Aanholt, Brown, Rodwell, Borini, Lens, Defoe.
  23. Impressive.
  24. I don't like moany pessimistic words, Chris. But they are very apt when it comes to Sunderland away.
  25. Fabio Borini, Ola Toivonen, Younes Kaboul and John O'Shea are all in contention for Saturday's clash against Southampton, but Lee Cattermole has been ruled out. The quartet of Borini (ankle), O'Shea (hamstring), Toivonen and Kaboul (both groin) missed last weekend's defeat at Everton through injury after none were able to play a part in training. But all four trained at the Stadium of Light today and could return for this weekend's visit of Southampton, as Sunderland bid for a second successive home victory. However, midfielder Cattermole will miss out after he was forced off against Everton with a groin problem which had been troubling him for several weeks.
