  1. SSN may well be right at £30m, but don't forget they had Lambert gone for £9m originally.
  2. Yup, 3 to 4 players we needed, IMO. (GK, DC, AMLRC, SC) Plus 1 for every player we lose.
  3. No worries Guan. But you KNOW we are going to badger you to find out how much we actually got for him
  4. This is very true. Never ceased to amaze me just how quickly Chambers settled in.
  5. Everton are certainly the example to try and emulate. (Villa being the polar opposite). It's going to be interesting...
  6. Guess we'll find out if Hernandez is part of the deal soon enough.
  7. Yup, and as much as I love him and want him to stay, 27-30m really is crazy money.
  8. Nigel leaving?
  9. Just to add to the point Bailey made... See the Herrera deal (Who has now past a medical & agreed terms, but they haven't agreed a fee) http://www1.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/9362433/transfer-news-ander-herrera-passes-manchester-united-medcal-but-fee-yet-to-be-agreed
  10. Good question - I think I'll rest a little easier if they land both Shaqiri & Sanchez.

  12. BBC Sport @BBCSport Manchester United confident of signing Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera despite seeing a £29m bid rejected by the Spanish club #MUFC
  13. Hull in for Snodgrass too. (£8m!)
  14. Really happy for him. (As long as it doesn't mean he suddenly wants to leave)
  15. I like Livermore - Solid player, but when you consider Coutinho was around the same price
  16. ^ 3 posts up

  18. 2 years I think.
  19. That's fair enough TBF. I'd be happy if our budget is £35m topped up by a large % of money made from player sale revenue.
  20. You've picked a fight with MLG now
  21. Amy Lewis' tweet is speculative at best - It's hardly worth arguing over it.
  22. I predict an Alex Crook story to break about this later on today...
  23. Depends how good ESPN's sources are I suppose... http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/1907897/manchester-united-in-advanced-talks-with-southampton-over-luke-shaw-transfer?
  24. Only mentioning this as he's been linked both this summer & last summer. Reports coming out of Holland claim Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason is on the verge of joining Real Sociedad. The Icelandic international has been linked with a move to England in the past, but it appears to take him to Sociedad is close to completion.
