The OP's nipper isn't far wrong re: Remy. He'd be fantastic (But out of our wage bracket). I don't know enough about Astori to warrant picking him. (But certainly a quality centre-back is a must). I'd go for Thomas Ince. Young, hungry, English & suits our system perfectly. 18 goals / 14 assists this season.

That'd be a massive bonus if he could cover left-back. I'm pretty sure Ince will still end up at Anfield, but I do wonder whether he's good enough for them yet. I think Phillips is still a realistic option. Our record of signing young English players has been pretty good in the last couple of years. He's done very well for them this year - Do Watford even own him? Or is it one of those dodgy loans?

Glad you added Ince Trippier is a decent shout, with Richardson & Butterfield likely off in the summer.
