I think every club intends on getting it done early, but I guess it's hard to get deals done with the backwards & forwards deal making.

Couple of bits from the papers about stuff relating to us:- -- The Daily Express also reports that Arsenal, Tottenham and Fulham are tracking Watford striker Matej Vydra, who has yet to decide whether to return to parent club Udinese, stay at Watford or move elsewhere. -- Chelsea and Tottenham have both made moves for 17-year-old Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, according to The Times.

Swansea are close to signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, 20, on loan and have also reached an agreement with 25-year-old Real Betis midfielder Jose Canas who is out of contract this summer, according to the Daily Mail. Great move for them if they can pull that off.
