  1. Never ceases to amaze me, either. Not long ago we were looking to Nicholas Bignall to improve our attack - Now it's Coutinho
  2. Mentioned earlier, but SSN report: Reports are emerging that a Liverpool delegation has flown to Italy in a bid to complete the transfer of midfielder Phillippe Coutinho from Inter Milan. We'll keep you up to date with any developments.
  3. 100% Terrible.
  4. Interesting read http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-target-philippe-coutinho-scouting-1549155
  5. I don't see Liverpool paying crazy money for him, since they wouldn't do that for Ince.
  6. Liked him. High energy, good tackling. Always thought if he could pass, he would've been in the prem.
  7. Depending who you believe..... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/9816749/Liverpool-manager-Brendan-Rodgers-hopes-to-secure-Inter-Milans-Phillipe-Coutinho-ahead-of-Oldham-Cup-tie.html http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2013/01/21/3690451/liverpool-target-coutinho-hopeful-of-inter-stay?source=breakingnews&ICID=HP_BN_2
  8. That one wouldn't surprise me actually - Remember him being quite useful for Birmingham.
  9. Fair point! - Someone at least said 'Whats wrong with Cork ?'
  10. Someone get itchen_dan on the case this week. Any good wingers in Spain?
  11. He's damn impressive. Interesting comments at the end re: English % of players in the prem.
  12. I know! - It was just an example for people who said we shouldn't sign him.
  13. Morgan. His ability to win balls without going to ground is brilliant. He's benefited so much from going down the lower leagues, IMO. Honourable mention to Yoshida. No mention will be made of Jos' long pass attempts in the 1st half which all went out of play
  14. Not sure if I'm overrating it, but I thought the save from Anichebe was sensational.
  15. Spot on. If Cork or Morgan get injured, we're struggling to fill the gap. Bit of a no-brainer if someone like Biglia becomes available, snap him up.
  16. My main knowledge of Biglia is that a hell of a lot of big clubs have wanted him in the past (and he's good on FM). Seems semi-realistic to me. He seems to be on strike, and wants a move to the prem & we currently have an Argentine coach. Easy link for for journo's to make. Even I thought about it during the 1st half.
  17. Are they still going to try and get Ince? Seems weird to think Coutinho would be 2nd choice.
  18. Certainly an improvement over Colin Kazim-Richards...
  19. Sneijder now signed for Galatasary. I'd imagine Coutinho is now their No.1 target.
  20. Anyone remember this piece from Adam Blackmore's blog in August? http://bigadamsport.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/is-it-southampton-way-or-highway-for.html
  21. And Cortese
  22. Damn. Bad news all round then.
  23. Also worth noting that he has very good links with Arsenal, so you can probably bank on the Theo enquiry being true....
  24. Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook Have been told #saintsfc players reacted positively to Pochettino's first training session today. Long live the king
