I agree with the poster who said he's got a bit of a reputation, but when he turns it on he's VERY good. There's certainly no shortage of wing talent in the championship with us talking about Zaha / Ince / Phillips / Adomah / Snodgrass in the past. Interesting. My 1st thought was whether it was the chap who'd posted about the Aaron Martin deal long before it was done (but it wasn't him).

I'm not sure how I'd feel about us signing a championship player who wasn't in the team of the year... Good player - I remember us being linked AGES ago when Pards was here and Adomah was at Barnet, I believe.

Davis has way more about him than Guthrie, IMO.

Nice job, as usual mate. Good to read that verdict on him. Really pleased with this deal. Sounds like he's a quality player. Worth a mention that Alan Nixon proved his stripes on this deal too. He's patchy at the best of times, but has been right more than most.

Agree, but is quite likely now IMO. We knew we’d need 5 at least (4 down the spine, a right winger) – And that was before we lost Martin on loan and signed a left back.

I'd rather sign him and let him fight for his place here against Kelvin as it should be.
